Chapter 41 - Grawpy

It's the morning after Y/N's and Hermione's 'talk' and even though the Ravenclaw expected things to things to be a little awkward between them, it wasn't. Sure Y/N kept apologising for her behaviour for a while until Hermione just told her to stop altogether.

Now the two are still in bed wrapped in each others arms enjoying each others company. They both missed mornings like this. Hermione gently touches Y/N's scarred hand and studies it quietly and Y/N doesn't make any movement to hide it.

"This doesn't look like Umbridge did this" Hermione says "what did you do"

Y/N grimaces as she remembers what happened, it was probably the most panicked she had ever been since facing Voldemort last year.

"I had a little disagreement with a mirror" Y/N says hoping to lighten the mood but Hermione looks more concerned than before. The Ravenclaw sighs "I had another episode again"

"You mean-"

"He was in my head again, Voldemort." Y/N says "I was in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror but I didn't see my reflection, it was his. I panicked and punched the mirror and it shattered and my hand started to bleed. I just stayed on the floor and I'm pretty sure I started to have a panic attack, I couldn't breathe and-"

"Hey it's okay, your okay" Hermione says and raises her hand to touch Y/N's cheek and she leans into the touch

"Rue found me then got Flo and we talked and told me to apologise to you which led me to see you last night" Y/N concludes and Hermione nods

"I don't want to fight like that again" Hermione says

"Couples fight 'mione" Y/N says "I don't like it when we fight but we probably will have disagreements, just hopefully not as big as this"

"With our track record, I have a feeling that won't last long" Hermione says and Y/N can't help but chuckle

"That's probably true but it's how we deal with it that matters" Y/N says "I'll try not to yell and throw insults when I get angry"

Hermione smiles "me too, and we will work stuff out together"

Y/N nods "of course"

Hermione places a gentle kiss to Y/N's lips. The Ravenclaw smiles and stares into her honey-brown eyes "I love you"

Y/N wraps her arms around Hermione's waist "and I love you too"

The couple walk into the great hall hand in hand feeling a little lighter and the smiles return to their faces.

The group are sitting at the Gryffindor table and they all stare at the couple. Flo, Jorden and Harry smile whilst Callan and Ron are silent. Y/N sighs knowing she will have to apologise to them as well.

"So I'm assuming you two worked it out," Callan says and Y/N nods

"Yeah we're okay now," Y/N says and Flo and Jorden smile

"Yes our favourite couple is back" Flo says and Harry laughs and Callan and Ron have a small smile on their faces.

Jorden gets up and hugs Y/N tightly "finally! I missed my favourite Ravenclaw" Jorden says and Y/N laughs whilst Flo scowls

"Excuse me what about me" Flo says and Jorden shrugs

"What" Jorden says with a grin and Y/N smiles

"We'll I missed my favourite Hufflepuff too" Y/N says with a smile "I missed all of you actually"
