Chapter 22 - Dumbledore's Army

It's now the weekend and Hermione and Flo have organised a place to meet for the Gryffindor's grand plan. Hermione offered up the idea that Harry and Y/N could teach them and the others how to defend themselves. The others in the group thought it was a great idea but Harry and Y/N are still unsure.

The weather is crisp and cold now that it's closer to winter and Y/N and Hermione stay close to one another as the group follows behind. Rue and Aston are also with them as Jorden thought it would be good for them to learn some actual magic.

"This is mad," Harry says and Y/N nods

"Yeah Harry's right. Who'd wanna be taught by me? We are both nutters, remember?" Y/N says and Hermione rolls her eyes

"Look on the bright side, you can't be any worse than old toad face," Ron says and Y/N sighs

"Thanks, Ron." Y/N replies and Ron smiles weakly

"I'm here for you, mate," Ron replies

"Y/N you're the captain of the Ravenclaw quidditch team," Flo says "you already train a team how hard could a little teaching be"

"Teaching someone quidditch and how not to die are very two different things," Y/N says "and besides a was presumed dead for three days so I'm not the best choice"

"Well look on the bright side your not dead anymore, which means you and Hermione can still go to bone town," Jorden says and Hermione frowns

"Bone town" Y/N says confused whilst Flo and Jorden snicker

"You know- when two people love each other very  much-"

"Alright Jord's we get it," Hermione says and Jorden sighs

"Yah right" he mumbles and Cal puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Look Y/N is the top of Charms class and Harry is actually surprisingly good at making plans as well as getting people's attention, being the chosen one and all" Callan says

"Hermione and I are basically on the same grade," Y/N says and Hermione smiles

"Y/N you're beating me by two per cent" Hermione says and Y/N smirks

"I know I just like hearing you give me praise" Y/N smiles and the Gryffindor rolls her eyes

"Are these two always like this Jordy" Aston says groan and Hermione and Y/N laugh

"You'll get used to it bro," Jorden says and the younger Hufflepuff sighs and Rue nudges his arm

"Lighten up Aston" Rue says and Aston glares at her sister

"Hey you two play nice," Flo says and the twins cut it out.

Harry sighs and turns to Hermione "Who's supposed to be meeting us, then?"

"Just a couple of people" Hermione responds and they walk into the inn called Hogs Head. The place was old and dusty, definitely had seen better days. There was an old man at the bar polishing a glass.

"Lovely spot," Cal says and Flo and Hermione frowned

"We thought it would be safer off the beaten track," Flo says and the group crowd inside and head to the back of the inn as they wait for everyone to arrive.

It wasn't long later when students started to arrive. The Weasley's came first with them bringing some friends, Luna and Neville arrived and a few of the younger students came by and Rue and Aston sat next to them. Cho and a few of her friends arrived and a few Slytherins that Cal managed to convince.

The group of students both stared at Harry and Y/N whilst the two of them frown wishing to be anywhere but here. Hermione eventually stands not being able to take the silence any longer.
