Chapter 24 - The Room of Requirement

"All student organizations are henceforth disbanded. Any student in noncompliance will be expelled" Umbridge's voice comes over the announcement.

The group have decided on the name for their little climb. Dumbledore's Army, DA for short. Everyone was supper excited to start lesson but first they needed to find a place.

Y/N and Flo are sitting doing homework in the library. Hermione and Ron are busy with prefect duties, Harry was at quidditch practice and Callan was helping Jorden with potions.

Callan has always been good with potions and will probably become an alchemist. Y/N was always jealous of how easy potions came to him. Despite the Ravenclaw getting good grades, she always had to work a little harder when it came to potions.

"So how are things going with you" Flo asks and Y/N sighs

"With what, my studies, relationship or captain stuff"

"Let's start with relationship" Flo says

"Hermione and I are good, we don't spend as much time by ourselves which can be frustrating at times but we make it work" Y/N says "we did have a bit of an awkward situation"

Flo looks at her best friend curiously "what do you mean"

Y/N blushes "well on her birthday I tried to well get more intimate with her"

"What didn't get the last part" Flo says

Y/N rolls her eyes "I tried to have sex with Hermione"

"What!" Flo says Y/N covers her mouth before saying anything else

"Keep your voice down" Y/N hushes and revolves her hand from the mouth

"Sorry it's just that I'm assuming it didn't happen" Flo says and Y/N nods "I wouldn't worry about it, she was probably just nervous and if you think about, Hermione has really only just come to terms with her bisexuality so she still processing that"

Y/N sighs "I didn't think of that, now I feel more like an idiot"

"Hermione already knows that your an idiot" Flo laughs and Y/N frowns "look just be patient with her, I'm sure you won't have to wait long"

Y/N laughs "thanks Flo your the best"

"Of course I am, you'd be lost without me" Flo says smugly

"Anyways, how are you and Viktor" the Ravenclaw asks

Flo's face saddens "we broke up"

Y/N frowns "what how come"

"It was mutual, distance was a factor and we were both very busy. With me with my studies and him balancing quidditch and school. We barely got chances to write to each other or even see each other " Flo says and Y/N nods

"I'm sorry to hear that" Y/N says and Flo smiles weakly

"It's okay, I'm sad about it but I think it's for the best" Flo says and Y/N smiles

"Y/N, Florence" Neville calls and the two look up at the Gryffindor boy

"Neville what is it" Y/N says

"I've found a place" Neville says and leans in close to whisper into Y/N's ear "for the DA"

Y/N's grins and and Neville smiles widely "show me"

"You've done it, Neville. You found the Room of Requirement" Flo says as the group walk into the room with the rest of the DA members.
