Kirishima x Reader

Background: Y/n was with Mirio and Deku when they ran into Eri. She tried convincing Mirio to help Eri but he said no. (Season 4 spoilers? I'm sure most people already know what happens but if there's anyone like me who sucks at keeping up with shows 😂)

...crash...

I threw a glass at my wall. I had messed my entire dorm room up. All of the crashes from stuff hitting the walls were pretty loud. Soon enough, as expected, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in..." I mumbled, barely being calm enough to speak. The door opened and I saw kirishima walk in. He closed the door and stepped forward, his hand on the back of his neck.

"Hey I uh- came to see if you were alright? I've heard a lot of crashing this past hour. I think since you got back from your day at your work study." He said.

I sighed. "Yea. Something... happened.." I told him. I knew we weren't supposed to talk about it so I didn't elaborate. He looked at the floor.

"Wow...it must've pissed you off pretty bad huh?" He nervously laughed, looking at the broken glass all over my floor .

Anger bubbled up in me again and I threw what was in my hand at my desk. Kirishima gave me a look before coming up to me and gently hugging me. "Wanna talk about it?" He asked me.

I shook my head. "I'm not allowed to. Just this stupid damn thing happened. I couldn't... I couldn't protect a little girl... but I really can't go into details." I sighed. Why did I have to keep secrets?

He looked at me shocked. "Oh. I'm sorry, Y/n. How are you dealing-" he cut himself off after looking at my face. "Never mind I realize now-" he laughed nervously.

My phone buzzed and I picked it up, finally pulling away from Kiri's embrace. "They want us to meet up?" I asked. I looked at Kirishima and noticed he had his phone out too. "Sounds like it. Let's go." He said, looking determined.

Us, Tsu, Ochaco, Midoriya, and Mirio met up outside. We all looked at each other before running off.

Time skip to the meeting.

LockLock had made some snarky remark and I stood up. "We're irresponsible?" I hissed. "I tried to save her but the decision was to tell Night Eye and find a solution. If you could've seen how-" Aizawa cut me off.

"L/n." He said in a stern voice. "Sit back down." Midoriya, Mirio, and Kirishima looked at me sympathetically. I crossed my arms and sat back down. "It's not fair that he gets to think that we're irresponsible when he hasn't even done ANYTHING to help." I said before zoning out of the conversation.

They continued discussing what we were going to do and soon enough it was time. We all got ready and finally rushed in.

Another time skip cause I'm lazy af. This time to the hospital when Mirio and Deku go to see Eri.

"Eri!" I called. She looked up and almost started crying. Once we all talked for a second she explained how she really felt.

Midoriya and Mirio asked Mr. Aizawa to let her come to the festival. He said he'd talk to principal Nezu about it and they got excited.

"I can't wait for our festival date!" Mirio said. "What's a date?" Eri asked. "It's when two people who like each other hang out with each other!" He explained. "Oh! So we're going on a date." Eri said.

"No you're not Eri-" I sighed "You guys are hanging out without the liking each other part" I subtly whacked Mirio in the head. He flinched a bit but other than that Eri didn't notice.

I hugged Eri. "Just know nothing is your fault, okay?" I told her. She nodded her head and I left the room.

I went back to my dorm to see kirishima cleaning up the mess I made. "Oh my god... I completely forgot about that!" I exclaimed.

He jumped up in surprise. He relaxed when he realized it was me. "Hey! Sorry for barging in like this. I just thought you'd like a clean room when you got back. Also I replaced all of the stuff that you broke!" He exclaimed, happily.

My eyes widened. Some of that stuff was actually expensive..?

I sighed, relieved. "I feel so much more calm now." I said. I started helping Kirishima clean my room.

When we finished we both sat on my bed. "You're amazing. Y'know that?" I told him. His face flushed. "Oh- uh- thank you?" He stuttered out.

I laughed. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he relaxed. "I missed hanging out." I whined. He just chuckled. He brought his arm around me and cuddled me.

"I love you." I mumbled.

"I love you too."  He said. I slowly fell asleep with him.
