Tamaki has panic attacks. So it wasn't surprising when Mirio called me and asked me to help his best friend. Tamaki was curled into a ball in his closet when I found him. He was pleading for it to stop. I sat next to the poor boy. "Hey baby." I whispered. He hardly glanced at me though his pleading stopped. I held his hands tightly. "Come on. Breathe with me alright? Take a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth." He did as I told him too and calmed down a little. "Just like that. You're doing amazing, love." I praised. I always praised him when he did good. He flushed and it's always adorable. Though during these times it's to help him know that he's ok. I smiled assuringly at him.

I managed to get him to his bed before his breathing became unsteady again. He laid his head on my tummy and his eyes flooded with tears again. "I'm fine.. I don't need any one to help with this." He tried. I smiled lightly. "You said that lie already." I sighed out. "You don't need to be ashamed of needing help. Everyone gets stressed. Believe it or not when I was much younger I had tons of panic attacks. It got better for me love. I'll help you get through it, alright?" I reassured him.

I shuffled through my playlist trying to find the perfect song. I felt him snuggle into me closer and I smiled. "I love you Tamaki. You'll be ok." I told him. I finally found it and set my phone down. I moved my hands to his head and detangled the knots in his violet hair.

We rot, thinkin' lots about nothing

"Baby?" I called. He hummed, lightly. I smiled. "Do you remember when we went to the ice rink and I slipped? I fell right on my butt. I was so cold after that." I laughed. I felt him chuckle lightly. I continued playing with his hair. "Oh oh do you remember when we went to that Walmart and that little kid bit me? It was so random and I scared him so bad with my quirk." I started laughing and I could feel him laughing a little with me. Tears were still flowing from his eyes but he was feeling better. "I'm sorry for getting your clothes all wet." He apologized sadly. I shook my head. "I like my shirt soggy. That's why I stand in the rain." I laughed. He smiled and nuzzled into me.

The song switched to a different song and I pouted. It was boring. I skipped to another song that I could dance a little to. Every time I'd dance a bit he'd smile more.

And laugh too loud

We try to hide when people are around

I kept recalling memories that we both were fond of and eventually I had him laughing with me. There was a knock on the door and Tamaki muttered a small "come in."

Mirio entered the room with some snacks and was all smiley. I smiled at his sunshine best friend. They were polar opposites but Tamaki admired his best friend. Mirio set the snacks down and I sat up slightly, much to Tamaki's dismay. I got him to sit up with me and snack on something. He nibbled in some pretzels while I held him. Mirio sat at the end of the bed. Tamaki started pouting and his eyes glossed over. I kissed his cheek and immediately his demeanor changed. I giggled at his flushed face. "Baby?" I called and he looked at me. I pecked his nose and he turned an even darker shade of red. He nibbled his pretzels and stared at his hands. I wrapped my arms around him.

As Tamaki calmed down from his panic I let more songs play. We stayed snuggled up together while I continued to play with his hair and he played with his hands. "I l-love you N-N/n.." Tamaki barely audibly admitted. I almost gushed at how he was able to do that. He was hardly ever able to say that he thought she was pretty and now love? I was beyond proud. "I love you too, sweet boy." I kissed his head and nuzzled my face into his hair. "I'm proud of you, baby." I admitted.
