Bakugo Katsuki was never one to say "I love you," Everyone knows that. Even people in entirely different courses knew that. He was hard headed, cold, arrogant, bratty, and foul mouthed.
Except he was more than that. He was caring. He knew how to respect boundaries. He could give the basic respect while still being cold. He loved so much deeper than he'd ever admit. He took care of his people.
He would never call them friends. More like acquaintances. Except one... That one idiot who wormed their way so deep into his heart and mind he couldn't pull them out. His head was filled with them. His heart pumped blood throughout his body just so that he could see them again. He wasn't one to say "I love you," until he met them.
When he met them it was like the whole world stopped spinning. He saw them training against Deku. They were quick on their feet yet so... smooth. It was like this was their dance. They managed to dodge and attack. They didn't win that battle but they certainly copped up a fight. He was completely entranced by them ever since that day.
He discreetly watched them during training. No matter who they fought against, they could dodge any attack smoothly as if they predicted it. It went on like that for weeks before Y/n finally went up to him and asked him out. They were bold and confident, as if they had no doubt whatsoever that he'd say yes. Obviously, he said yes.
They watched a movie in Y/n's dorm for their first date. For the second date they went to a concert. Afterwards, they went to some fast food restaurant and got crappy food. The third date they went on was when he decided to grow a pair. He brought them a bouquet of candy and snacks with a few flowers here and there. Then, he took them out to the skating rink. He bought them food and drinks while they were out. When they finally got back to the dorms, he brought them to their dorm. Before they could say good night and close the door he stood in the doorway while averting his eyes from theirs. "Be mine..." He grumbled. Of course they happily agreed which led to him kissing their cheek with embarrassment all over his face. He didn't sleep well that night.
