"I need the bathroom," Kay mumbled, pushing past Y/N and Jimmy and making her way towards it.
Y/N and Jimmy stared at one another, then at the door Kay had rushed out of. Hearing the sound of gagging and vomit splashing the toilet bowl coming from the bathroom, they winced.
"Is that because of the alcohol or because she saw us?" Y/N asked.
"Well, shes never been a lightweight," said Jimmy.
"Should we check if she's okay?"
"If she speaks to us it might make her worse. Let's go to our room and let her get back to sleep."
The words my room gave Y/N the chills. She knew Jimmy only refereed to it as theirs because they were spending the night together, but she imagined it being said sometime in the future, where her and Jimmy really owned a bedroom together.
A second shiver of chills washed over Y/N as what the meaning of Jimmy's words sank in. They were about to go to bed together. She'd have to lie down next to Jimmy, keep her composure, and refrain from embarrassing herself all at once.
But one thing made up for all of that. She'd have the privilege of seeing Jimmy in his most vulnerable state. She'd be able to look over and watch his eyes closed, all innocent, and his sweet, slow breathing. Her heart melted at the thought of it.
"Okay," she whispered.
Jimmy led Y/N into his room. It was furnished with a white single bed, a beside table with a lamp, and a small television propped on a chest of drawers. Jimmy stood beside the bed and waited for Y/N to climb in, which she did a little self-consciously.
"You don't mind if I sleep at the same end, do you?" Jimmy asked.
"Of course not," Y/N whispered.
Jimmy switched off the main light but kept the bedside lamp on, and slid into the bed after Y/N. Silence lingered as the two shuffled around, trying to get comfortable. Despite it being time for Y/N to relax and fall asleep, her heart was beating faster than ever. She couldn't help but be exceptionally aware of Jimmy's eyes on her, perceiving her movements, and it only made them more awkward.
After a break few minutes had passed, Y/N felt a warm arm creep around her waist and pull her in. She held her breath, afraid of exhaling hard enough for him to retract his arm. She placed her hand on it to show that she wanted it to stay there, and gently backed herself up into him, letting the warmth of his chest heat up her back. As nervous as it made her, she wanted to stay in the moment forever. She belonged in his embrace.

Question: Do you feel sorry for Kay?
