The way Y/N felt was bittersweet. On one hand, it was pure bliss—she had the man she loved suggesting that she be his girlfriend, and everything between them was perfect. On the other hand, though, everything else was looming in the background—the memories of her arrest, Kay and Ariana's betrayal, the article about her online, and the argument between Alice and Jimmy.
That one positive definitely outweighed all of the negatives, though. If she had go back in time, there was absolutely no doubt in her mind that she would do it all again to have Jimmy like she had now. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her.
"What are you saying?" Y/N whispered. She knew what he meant, but she just had to make sure. "What are we?"
"Together," said Jimmy, taking Y/N's hands. "That's what we are."
When Jimmy held Y/N, she felt like she could get through anything. She had gotten over everything just because she had him to hold her at the end of it.
She decided to put all of the bad things aside for the moment and just be happy, like she deserved to. Unless her and Jimmy broke up and got back together again, which she hoped would never have to happen, she would never get to re-live this moment. She was being asked out by her one and only love. Even if she did get to re-live the moment, it wouldn't be the first time they got together. This was a once in a lifetime.
Y/N almost wanted to thank him, but she had at least some dignity not to put herself down that low. She had worth, too. It was just that, nobody else had ever believed in her and taken the time to give her a chance before. On the surface, she was nothing special, and everyone else left it as that, never digging any deeper. But, Jimmy...he saw more, and she loved him for that.
"...Aren't we?" Jimmy checked, seeing Y/N there with her mouth open, saying nothing.
"Yes, we are," she whispered, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Jimmy began to kiss Y/N passionately. She was glad she had him all alone again. Although being with him in public was great—being anywhere with him was great—nothing compared to it being just the two of them.
Y/N sort of wished she knew how far Jimmy wanted to go. They were still kissing, and she wanted to take off her clothes, even if they didn't actually have sex, but she wasn't sure if Jimmy wanted to keep it PG or not.
Communication was key. She'd ask him. "How far do you wanna go?" she breathed between kisses.
Jimmy pulled back for a moment, looking into Y/N's eyes. "What I want and what we should do are two different things. I want all of you..." He took in her body for a moment. "But we should wait."
"Why?" Y/N almost whined.
Jimmy sat up, looking and talking little seriously. "I don't wanna take something from you if you're not completely sure about it. What if you don't know everything about me, and then you go all the way, but find out you don't even like me as a person, and then regret it?"
Wow. He had just explained the exact same doubts she had been having about him. Since they'd met, Y/N had worried that Jimmy would give his everything to her, and then find out about her past, or other aspects of her personality he hadn't seen yet, and then feel like a fool for liking her in the first place.
It seemed safe enough for Y/N to finally say what she'd been keeping inside for a long time. "I'm so glad you said that, because...I feel the exact same way. I've been a bad person, too..."
