The tournament between the three races

Currently Blaine and I are in a meeting with Cynthia Goodsky the director of Xyrus Academy.

Xyrus Academy, an institution hailed as the most exalted sanctuary for any aspiring mage privileged enough to have the training and talent to enter. There were several other academies scattered throughout the Sapin Realm, but it goes without saying that the level between these second-rate schools near Xyrus, the difference was insurmountable.

That was the kind of titan Xyrus Academy was. Those who qualified to graduate from this academy were assured of a prosperous future and life.

The best years of my life were my student years in Xyrus.

"Cynthia can you give us the name of the three strongest students of Xyrus, we want them to represent Sapin in the tournament between the three races that will take place in Xyrus in four months." Blaine spoke

Since we discovered the possibility of the existence of another continent, we have been trying to bring together and improve the relationship between the three races.

To do this, we allow dwarves and elves to become adventurers, the best way to end the hatred that exists between races and unite future generations.

The next step is to allow dwarves and elves to attend Xyrus' academy.

To celebrate the coming together of the races we decided to create a huge sports festival, the most talented young people of the future generation of mages of this continent will face each other in combat, the tournament will just be the icing on the cake on this day all three races will be well-lived in the floating city from Xyrus.

We are preparing a great festival on this day, after all this day will change the history of Dicathen drastically.

That continent will go, to new times.

"I must assume that Esdeath is already among the five representatives." Commented Cynthia.

"Yes, she was selected first." I replied, "The fifth member has also been selected." I added, since I knew that was Cynthia's next question.

"Okay, outside of Esdeath the three best students Xyrus can offer are Claire Bladeheart, Theodore Maxwell and Kai Crestless." Cynthia said.

"We appreciate her director's help." I spoke.

"Can I ask you a question?" asked Cynthia.

"Go ahead." Blaine said.

"Who is the fifth member of Sapin's team?" asked Cynthia genuinely curious.

My lips curved into a smile as I spoke, "Lancelot Winey."

From Isabelle Winey's point of view

I was in the library reading a book absentmindedly, when I felt something vibrate inside my dimensional ring, I placed the book I was carefully reading on the couch I was reading, injected mana into my dimensional ring and started to search inside, I saw the scroll of dual communication I had with Pri vibrating indicating my best friend was calling me.

I took the parchment out of my ring and opened it.

"Pri what a nice surprise you call me! How are you?"

"We're great and you?"

"We're fine too, do you guys need wine?"

"We're not in need of wine, Isa, have you heard about the festival taking place four months from now in Xyrus?"

"Yes, we are thinking of going to enjoy this historic day."

"Perfect!" Pri said excitedly, "Would you mind if Lancelot joins the tournament."

"What?" I spoke involuntarily.

"I and Blaine would like him to be one of Sapin's five representatives."

"Of course you can, I'll go talk to Lance and later I'll tell you his answer."

"Thanks."

Pri and I were talking for a good few hours before hanging up our call, as soon as I stopped talking to my best friend I went to the window that the library had, I pulled the curtain a little to see the garden, there in the garden I saw Lance and Sam fighting, they weren't using magic it was just good old hand to hand fighting.

Sam was a good girl, I got really close to her in the three years she was living with us, her facial features had matured a lot in these years, her teenage aura was slowly fading and she was becoming a real woman.

My son on the other hand grew up a lot, he became even more adorable, his white hair was now much longer, his child's face was slowly starting to mature, now he had an athletic body due to his training with Sam.

I smiled, before letting go of the part of the curtain I'd been holding up, obscuring my view of the garden.

From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

I heard footsteps approaching me and Sam, I looked at the place where the sounds were coming from and I saw my mother with two bottles of water in her hand.

"You must be thirsty." My mom threw a bottle of water to me and another to Sam.

"Thanks." I said, these drinking the water felt my body temperature drop as the ice water went down my throat.

"Much better." Sam spoke after drinking all the water in the bottle.

"Lance, would you like to participate in the tournament between the three races that will take place in Xyrus?" my mother asked.

That tournament was the perfect place for me to have my rematch with Esdeath, my lips curled into a sly smile and I replied, "Of course I would, Mom."
