The sun had just risen, covering everything it touched in a beautiful blanket of amber and violet.
The main entrance door of the Schooled Inn creaked open.
"Good morning, Lancelot." Caera Said as she closed the door behind her.
"Clean your hair..." he said in a whisper.
"He liked?" Caera said as she adjusted it.
Thanks to the small incident that Caera had caused in Elenoir's realm, he was supposed to change his appearance so as not to be identified, but I didn't imagine that he would dye his hair white.
"Not bad."
"Well I guess I can take that as a compliment." Caera sighed.
"Well now let's go."

The interior of the teleport portal room was a marble structure with an intricately designed interior. There were tables made of metal where I could see adventurers giving us a passing look. The whole place had luxury hotel-like decor that didn't quite fit with some of the more barbaric looking people here, but I just kept walking.
"Lancelot, here!" As soon as Caera and I entered the teleportation room, I heard someone shout my name.
I saw Emily, Nettie and Gideon sitting around a table, Caera and I walked over to them.
"You guys are early." I said sitting down next to Gideon, facing Emily and Nettie.
"My idiot master didn't even sleep he was so excited." Emily snorted.
"Who is that girl next to you Lancelot, your sister?" Questioned Nettie looking at Caera.
Come to think of it now Caera and I really seem to go together now, we both have white hair and red eyes and our skin tone is relatively similar.
"No he's a friend of mine." Said, Caera took that as a cue to get up and introduce herself, right after her the three scientists/inventors present here did the same.
"Will the princess come? With the latest events I doubt the queen will let her roam free" said Gioden.
"We have some time left until 7:00 am so let's wait there until then." Nettie said and we all gave each other a nod. In agreement.

"Sorry I'm late." Kathyln said approaching us behind her was our former teacher Iris Flirting.
"Iris didn't expect to see you here." She said suppressed.
"Well that was the condition imposed by Priscilla so that her daughter could come." Iris replied.
Flashback On
From the point of view of Kathyln Glayder
In the dining room on the first floor, I found my mother all sitting alone around a long oak table that dominated the dining room, which seated at least thirty people.
There were three chandeliers hanging from a high ceiling, filling the space with bright light.
"Good night mom." She said, pulling out a chair for me to sit on.
"Good night daughter."
"Mom tomorrow my friends are going out, can I go with them." She spoke vaguely about the route Lancelot had sent me.
"Where are you going?" My mom asked me.
"Beast Glade."
"No way!" I just lost your dad and your brother and you're saying you want to kill yourself out there? I do not believe! No way." My mother was on the verge of tears as she said this.
She was saying all this because she was worried and I could never blame her for that.
"Mother, Lancelot will be with me and everything will be alright." I grabbed my mother's hands.
"Kathyln Glayder." My mom said firmly I knew she was serious as she didn't call me Kathy or daughter like she usually did. "Will you really lay your life on Lancelot's shores?"
"What?" She said involuntarily.
"I personally think you have as much skill and potential as Lancelot, but you haven't caught up yet because of your mentality. Kathyln you don't know how to fight seriously, do you?
"Uh! Are you saying I'm not taking my duties seriously mom?"
"At no point did I say you're not here. I said you don't know how. For example, in a chess game...you would never risk losing a piece in order to advance in the game, not on green would you move your piece to back. This is a magnanimous attitude, but Lancelot and I would risk a more offensive move. Just like chess the wizarding world is an individual sport, so your mentality and reasoning is the main competence for your survival, coordination with other wizards is important not yeah? Well yeah, but daughter no matter how many allies you have, when you start dying you'll be alone. You can only assemble data by underestimating yourself and others. You can't imagine a future version but you yourself, you don't think that If you told me that you're strong enough to protect yourself is better than putting the weight of your life on someone else's back." My mother's words hit me like thunder and stunned me.
Shortly after, the food was served and, for a moment, there was only the clink of cutlery, no one could utter a measly syllable during the meal it was one of the unspoken rules of the Glayder family.
The meal was soon over.
"If you really want to go tomorrow, Iris will have to go with you, that's the only condition I have." My mom said getting up.
Before leaving the dining room, my mother gave me a sharp look, "Daughter, be more greedy with your strength so that you can grow both mentally and in your magical abilities."
Flashback Off
From the point of view of Lancelot Winey
"The more people the better." Nettie said.
"Well now let's go." Said Gideon being unable to contain his excitement.
"Hang on!" Iris exclaimed abruptly. "How about we take a picture first?"
Gideon groaned, but Emily hooked her arm through his and pulled him closer to Nettie, who happily took Emily's other arm. The three stood in front of the gate, the portal gently undulating behind them.
I stayed beside Gideon giving a shy hug to Kathyln, who had slightly blushing yawns, Caera was found in front of us.
"Perfect!" Iris screamed after taking several steps back. She crouched down on the ground and pressed a button on the large metal and glass artifact she was holding.
"Miss," Iris called one of the salon attendants, "could you take a picture of us?"
"Clear." The clerk replied with a polite smile.
"Just point this part at us, put some mana in the artifact and flip the switch!" Iris explained before going to stand beside Caera.
It was a bittersweet feeling to see everyone happy and celebrate what felt almost like a rite of passage for us.
