From Arthur Leywin's point of view

After my return to Xyrus, a lot happened, I found the twin horns, I met the headmistress of Xyrus' academy and even the Sapin royal family at the Helstea tenth anniversary auction, although our meeting was truly troubled.

Today the 7th of July is a historic day for Dicathen, as the borders of the floating city of Xyrus would be open to all three races.

*knock knock*

Two perfectly spaced knocks on my bedroom door caught my attention.

"I'm going." I screamed as I walked to the oak door, as I opened the door I saw my mother.

"Art, are you ready?" my mother asked.

"Yeah, come on Sylvie" I said.

Sylvie who jumped out of my bed and ran towards us, after he left the room he also left the room and I closed the door, the three of us walked to the living room.

Waiting in the living room downstairs was the Hestea family, my dad, Ellie and the twin horns, as soon as we got to them Angela pulled me into a suffocating hug, but I was soon saved by Durden.

We were all going to enjoy the festival together, but the thing I was most looking forward to was the sports festival that would take place today at the end of the day.

When Grandpa Virion commented on him I wasn't the least bit interested, as I believed Ayla would win easily.

Ayla always had a mysterious vibe, for some reason or I couldn't help but see her as someone similar to me, I think that's why we managed to get along so well.

But it was a line from Virion that made me change my mind about the sports festival and the line was, "I know you and Ayla are stupidly talented, but don't think you two are the center of the world, there are a lot of talented people out there, and this tournament is very good for you to realize how strong you are compared to those your age or a little older, brat this world is very vast, remember that well."

"I'm looking forward to the sports festival." I commented.

"I doubt there are little monsters out there that surpass you, brat." Adam spoke.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"This world is vast personal world." I spoke.

The city of Xyrus was richly decorated for that day, everyone was celebrating this day which was a historic landmark for this continent.

We enjoyed the festival a lot, we went to all the stores or food stalls that caught our attention, Adam even tried to flirt with some girls but in the end he was dismissed by all, I felt a little sorry for him.

Mom, Ellie, Lilia, Tabitha and Angela visited many clothing stores, while Dad, Durden and Jasmine went to the weapon stores after all this was a rare opportunity to see elven and dwarven weapons.

Vincent as a good merchant he was in every shop, he was really excited to see wares from the elves and dwarves.

Seeing everyone having fun like this, my heart filled with joy, life couldn't be happier. How long this would last, I would give my life to make sure it lasts until my life ends in its due time.

After touring the entire city of Xyrus we went to the stadium where the sports festival would take place.

I couldn't help but widen my eyes as I arrived in front of the stadium where the sports festival would take place, it could easily hold 70,000 people.

We all went to one of the many entrances to the stadium.

"Looks like it will take some time for our turn." Tabitha commented watching the line of people in front of us, I did an approximate count, I realized that there are about 100 people in front of us.

After a while, it was finally our turn, after the person who was guarding the tickets, inspecting ours, entered the arena.

As soon as I entered the stadium I shuddered at how loud it was. Thousands of people chattered excitedly, with just a quick glance I realized that most of the stadium seats were fully occupied.

We went to our seats and sat down.

15 minutes later.

The stadium was suddenly in absolute silence, the silence was not caused because people stopped talking but because their voices disappeared from their focal strings.

Suddenly, a sharp blur forms and I see Director Goodsky standing in the center of the battlefield.

She wasn't wearing the big hat that spellcasters wear like she did the last time we met almost 2 months ago, but instead, she wore an elegant white tiara that matched her white robe.

"Sorry for the rudeness, but I hate talking out loud. It's not good for my throat, no it isn't." She says in a pleasant voice that, while soft, was heard perfectly clear, even here in the back row.

"I welcome everyone here, I can say that it is a great honor to be here on this historic day for this continent, can everyone in the audience kindly turn to the back room at the top? There, we have some very important figures. Please give a big round of applause to the three kings and queens of different nations on our beloved continent of Dicathen."

Everyone in the stadium stood up and started clapping for the royal family, I couldn't help but smile as soon as I saw Tess and Grandpa Virion.

The royal families rise from their seats and begin waving their hands in response.

After the wave of applause ceased Cynthia spoke again saying: "Now let's get down to business, but before calling the fighters to the stage I would like to explain the rules of the competition." He paused briefly before continuing to speak, "All weapons, armor and spells are allowed, however it is not allowed to inflict fatal wounds on your opponents or leave permanent damage, the fight ends when the opponent is knocked out, surrenders or leave the battlefield, now let's call out the first two fighters, so let's give a round of applause for Feyrith Ivsaar III."

A wave of cheers and whistles sounded from the elves as they watched Feyfey enter the combat arena, Feyfey walked over to Cynthia.

Feyfey was wearing a brown wizard's robe, her blond hair tied in pigtails, in her right hand was a staff.

"Well now let's welcome our other combatant Lancelot Winey."

Footsteps echoed from the other tunnel that gave access to the arena, making everyone present turn their gaze towards it, a boy in a white fur-lined cloak came out of the tunnel, his long white hair was waving in the air, his scarlet eyes seemed to be shining. .

'Feyfey lost.' I thought

Only Lancelot's footsteps told me that he and Feyrith were on completely different levels.

Lancelot stopped walking as soon as he got close to Cynthia and Feyrith.

Feyrith held out an arm to Lancelot, who kindly accepted his length.

"Assume your positions." He asked Cynthia.

"OK." Feyrith replied, Lancelot just turned and started walking.

Lancelot and Feyrith had parted ways, leaving twenty feet between them.

Lancelot pulled the white cloak from his shoulders and swept it away with a flourish.

Cynthia's powerful voice echoes across the battlefield, signaling us to begin.

"START THE MATCH!"
