From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

Kathyln closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh, that casual action seemed to change the whole atmosphere of the waters, she opened her eyes, her irises now had a magnificent shade of tiffany green and her long hair as black as night became a mixture of black. with light blue with black.

But not only that, Kathyln was muttering something under her breath. Soon after, an ice trident came to life in her right hand.

Kathyln told me that she rarely used this ability of her beast because he didn't really consider it her own power, and that in a way was true. I had to admit that she had the right mindset.

Some beast tamers choose to use only her unique powers rather than

perfect your own. Because of this, although they are still strong, they never

really improve in the long run. To make full use of Bestial Will, the

user himself needs to strengthen his own power.

"I've seen this form before, but for some reason this beast still sends shivers down my spine." Esdeath commented casually as she appeared at my side.

Everyone stopped their battles and kept their eyes on Kathyln and Peter, however I didn't do that my gaze fell on Arthur and the Realmheart that was active in his body.

Fluger was certain he's actually a dragon, and the fact that Sylvie was so subservient to him makes me wonder what that boy really was.

From Kathyln Glayder's point of view

Unlike before, now thanks to the abundant amount of atmospheric water mana surrounding me, my unlimited amount of mana I have access to doesn't restrict what I can actually do when I activate the 'Acquisition' phase.

I remember when I first used the 'Acquisition' phase, I was only able to keep it active for just a few seconds before I was crippled in bed the next day.

Even though I couldn't stand my 'Acquisition' phase for a long time, it was still my biggest asset.

Because with her my range of possibilities increased a lot.

Peter is looking at me with a stunned expression, his once serious face now almost comical.

I moved my right hand and the water turned stormy, the lake had become complete pandemonium.

I calmly gather the abundant particles of water mana in the palm of my hand, and they instinctively turn to ice.

And without any effort I shot it towards Peter, I began to control the flow of the waters to increase the speed of my ice sphere even more.

Peter drew his sword from the scabbard tied to his waist and cut my sphere vertically, making it disappear.

"I see things are getting even more interesting, princess." Peter's form blurred and disappeared, he reappeared milliseconds later, his blade coming at mine.

"You know Peter I hate show-off boys like you." He said calmly as he swung my trident to block his blade's attack.

I controlled my breathing to minimize the use of my oxygen as much as possible, the mana could be almost lit down here but the same couldn't be said for the air entering our lungs.

I kicked him and manipulated the water to carry me away, but the distance I would create between us was closed in an instant by Peter.

Even with an opponent superior to me in physical combat, I was strangely calm enough to concentrate on the slow, rhythmic beats of my heart.

Ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum...

I closed my eyes and let the water guide me, for here no matter how subtle your fighting style was, every move you made would still affect the flow of the water.

I caught a powerful energy above me and quickly looked up, the boy I think was called Libythe conjuring an orb of flame into his palm.

I sighed, "You know, it's disrespectful to meddle in someone else's fight so don't get in my way." I moved my ring and middle fingers up and conjured several ice golems, "keep busy with that for now" I shot him a half smile.

I quickly turned my head to the side to find a shower of spears of wind already coming right in front of my nose.

The water around me turned and turned into a large tornado deflecting the arrows, Peter appeared behind me, the blade of his sword already coming towards me.

I moved my trident to block his attack but just as our blades were about to meet, a blast of wind happened beneath Peter's Peter causing him to drastically change direction, causing me to hit nothing but water.

"If this attack works once and more than enough to end this fight." Peter exclaimed with a smile.

"You seem to have misunderstood something." I smiled, a barrier of ice appeared on my back, his blade shattered my barrier, but those small fractions of seconds were more than enough to give me time to escape his attack, "If it wouldn't work twice the same attack, that doesn't mean it would work the first time."

The ice crystals that constituted the barrier expanded, freezing everything they touched, as they did so they took on different shapes, ice trees, flowers and buildings appeared along the entire length of the lake.

From Iris Flirting's point of view

"Hey Drossel. Wanna bet? I think our young princess is going to win this one." she said with her eyes fixed on the underwater battle.

"It's hard to gauge who's ahead." Drossel replied, without answering my actual question. "If we only talk about physical fighting, Peter is much superior, his speed and his reflexes are several levels above our ice princess, but Kathyln's defense seems to be able to allow her to make more mistakes."

"Yes, that is largely due to your bestial will."

"Agreed, I'm truly curious to know which pussy your bestial will comes from, as the speed of your mana flow continues to increase."

"So do you want to bet or not?" grumbled

"I'll bet on Peter" Drossel declared confidently.

"I'll bet on Kathyln."

"Let's see who wins." Drossel let out a laugh.

From Kathyln Glayder's point of view

I moved my hand calling out the water particles and they promptly answered my call, coiling through me, the particles that did so glowing and turning into a large sea serpent.

"This is my most powerful attack. If you can withstand it, I will admit defeat! Please prepare!" I spoke.

Listening to me, the layer of air that enveloped Peter's body became noticeably thicker, and his fingers gripped the grip of his sword even more tightly.

I stretched out my right arm and pointed my trident at Peter and soothingly said:

"Mitsukurina freeze."
