Lancelot's words had an inexplicable persuasive power, and before I knew it I had nodded in agreement.

Fluger flew from Lancelot's shoulders and his form flashed, with a thunderous burst of mana radiating from his body, Fluger's form transformed into that of a mighty wyvern.

Fluger had matte black scales, his scarlet eyes were bright as the most beautiful ruby, the wyvern looked as majestic as it was deadly.

"A-oh my god..." was all I managed to say, I could feel my eyes widen like two full moons.

The wyvern were as mythical creatures as the dragons so I never imagined I could see one in front of me.

So I was surprised when I didn't hear any screams or sighs from a guard or maid, I closed my eyes and tried to feel people but there was no one around but Fluger and Lancelot.

Lancelot was a perceptive person—he wouldn't show Fluger's true form to many people unless it was a dire case, so I knew he'd checked out our surroundings before asking for his bond to transform.

"Hurry up, go up." Lancelot, who a moment ago was beside me, was now on Fluger's back, I was completely stunned.

"Y-Do you want me to climb on this creature??"

"I told you, didn't I?" Lancelot stretched his right arm towards me, feeling the gravity around me distort it was lifting me up to Lancelot.

"Oh?!" I gasped in shock again as this invisible force dragged her, Lancelot settled me right behind him and gave an order to Fluger.

"Climb."

As if expecting this, Fluger flapped his massive wings and began to soar into the air.

I looked down as the castle gradually grew further away and gulped. Sure enough, the feeling of tension I was feeling now was on another level compared to any I had ever felt.

Almost instinctively, my arms went around Lancelot's waist.

From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

I could feel an incredible amount of pressure being exerted by Kathlyn's arms wrapping around my waist, it showed how scared she must be feeling right now.

'Fluger, go faster! Faster!" She said mentally.

'OK!'

As Fluger began to fly at his fastest speed, Kathlyn's screams echoed right behind me.

After 2 hours of travel we arrived at the floating city of Xyrus.

Fluger landed in a remote area of town so as not to draw unnecessary attention to us.

Xyrus was an amazing city. I couldn't help but look at the different landscapes that emerged as we walked along the main road. I could see magic shops, arsenals, spell books and even pet shops! There was everything a mage could ask for. Adults and children were extravagantly dressed as luxurious carriages passed by us.

I could also see children a few years older than me, all wearing similar uniforms, some black, some gray and red. I could only assume from their pretentious demeanor that they were students at Xyrus Academy. While the uniforms in my old world were meant to protect one's financial origins to lessen discrimination, here it seemed that the uniforms themselves functioned as a kind of gold medallion that they could show off to the rest of the world.

Xyrus Academy, an institution hailed as the most exalted sanctuary for any aspiring mage privileged enough to have the training and talent to enter. There were several other academies scattered throughout the Sapin Realm, but it goes without saying that the level between these second-rate schools and Xyrus, the difference was insurmountable this was the kind of titan Xyrus Academy was.
