From Kathyln Glayder's Point of View
The Castle was quite busy because of my mother's birthday, the preparations were almost finished after all it was practically her birthday.
Unlike mine, which was a big party, my mother's would just be a dinner for her closest friends, who weren't many people.

As I walked through the imposing stained wood double doors that led to the dining room, opened for me by two silver-clad guards, I took my time to savor the sights, sounds, and scents around me.
While the size of the dining room was nothing extraordinary, the decor details took my breath away. The vaulted ceiling itself made this room look like a separate structure from the castle, and the ambient light cast by the floating orbs above brought a wonderful scene to life.
"Daughter, welcome!" My mother spoke as soon as she saw me enter the room, giving her a smile in response.
Three boys who were the children of the guests came up to me, they started bragging about their magical talents and the riches of their families, I let my eyes wander around the room to see if they could find a reason for me to distance myself from these boys, but in the end I didn't find them so I had to stay here listening to them.
"Kathyln it's been a long time." A familiar voice sounded behind me, I turned my head back only to see Lancelot walking calmly towards me.
He was wearing a black dress shirt with a few buttons on it, black twill pants fitted perfectly to his body on his feet and black slip-on sneakers, and over everything was a long, black overcoat.
As they were a totally black look their skin, hair and eyes stand out like a ray of light in the darkness.
I felt my heart beat faster when I saw him, he walked calmly until he reached the place where I was.
"Lancelot, good to see you again." I spoke as soon as he reached my side.
"I say the same." He replied.
"Lancelot I'd like to introduce you...." I stopped talking as soon as I noticed that the three boys who were talking to me were gone.
"Looks like I scared them off." commented Lancelot sarcastically.
"Yea." I agreed
Lancelot and I started talking about the things we had been doing in the last few months, as I was not yet a mage my routine was not as lively as his.
Lancelot's eyes suddenly widen almost imperceptibly, if I wasn't so good at reading people I wouldn't even have noticed.
"What's it?" I asked, Lancelot's eyes widened even more before his lips curved into a smile.
"The snowman, I haven't seen one in a long time."
"You haven't made one yet?"
Lancelot laughed, "I was so preoccupied with magic that I started forgetting to enjoy little moments like this."
"Even more in magic?" She said in surprise, after all he was already very strong for his age.
"The sky is the limit Kathlyn," Lancelot opened the palm of his right hand and looked at her, suddenly he closed his hand in a tight grip, his lips curled into a smile, "I want to reach the pinnacle of magic. "
I smiled, Lancelot's mindset of always wanting to improve was truly admirable.
"Well, enough about magic for today, what do you think about helping me make a snowman." suggested Lancelot.
Normally I would make an excuse or just deny it, but when I was with Lancelot the story was different I enjoyed his company, I felt I could be myself or his side instead of Kathlyn Glayder the princess of Sapin.
Lancelot and I left the dining room silently and went to the castle garden, as we were in winter the flowers that normally beautified it were now non-existent, they gave way to white snow, snowflakes slowly fell from the skies, even with the coat of the fur I put on before leaving the castle, the hairs on my body stood on end with the cold.
The air around me warmed, I immediately looked at Lancelot, "Is it better?" he asked.
"Yes, much better."
I crouched down and started to make a snowball for the base of the doll, thanks to Lancelot's magic that was warming up around us the snow was at a pleasant temperature.
Suddenly something bumped against my body, I looked back and only to see Lancelot throwing a snowball up and catching it.
"You asked."
From Priscilla Glayder's point of view
I noticed that my daughter was nowhere to be found in the dining room.
'Did she go back to her room?' I thought, my daughter was someone who hated crowds.
I noticed Isa's head going from side to side, he was also looking for someone, suddenly a smile appeared on his face when she looked out the window, I went to her, because my curiosity had been aroused.
"What's it?" I asked as soon as I got close to her.
"Just look." Isa nodded toward the window.
I took another step forward so I could see better, my eyes widening in disbelief.
My daughter who was always so calm and composed, who always kept a respectful distance from people, was now having a snowball fight with Lancelot.
"Even with all this snow I can clearly see something blooming between them." Isa spoke.
"I agree, they are very bright together."
