Academic Exchange: 1st Period

As I foresaw as soon as the battle started, each one shot towards their battles.

The water flowing around it began to swirl violently, forming a wall, due to the change in the flow of the water, the fish and even the huge stones are sucked up and smashed to pieces.

'Apparently, there is a terrain effect that strengthens water magic.' I thought.

"I was waiting for you." I spoke calmly as I watched Yuki approach me quickly, her fist engulfed in flames, emitting a holy glow.

'Despite being underwater, her flames are still burning, maybe she's a little interesting.'

"I've always wanted to face you since the tournament of the three races."

"Serious?" I spoke while dodging the blow of her flaming fist that was aimed at my stomach, but she didn't stop, Yuki braided her arm in a figure eight, and attacked me, her attack was met by a fist when she was about to reach mine rib.

Effortlessly, she somersaulted forward, aiming a kick to the back of my head, I moved deftly and dodged her attack.

"Aren't you going to use your sword?" She asked me.

"It's not very fair of me to use a gun when you're empty-handed, right?" I slammed my right foot into the ground and a chunk of ground the size of my body pushed up.

'Eh....?' I thought, while raising an eyebrow, because this piece of stone came out bigger than I wanted.

Suddenly, the words Iris said to me earlier today came back to my mind: "Mirror Lake has the strange ability to absorb mana..."

The atmospheric mana that has been dissolved in the lake is a kind of special magic tool that has no form, spells done down here naturally absorb mana from the lake thus increasing the strength of the spells cast.

I jump back and send a rock the size of my body flying straight at her with a kick. Yuki hits the rock and easily cracks it with his flames.

In that moment when her view was blocked, I ran straight toward her, holding Hades'wrath in my dimensional ring.

"If you wish to fight hand-to-hand, know that this is my domain of combat." Yuki flashed me a smile that was able to even make me excited.

From Iris Flirting's point of view

"Hmmm... Lancelot... trumps all the rumors I've heard about him." Drossel spoke as he appeared at my side, his eyes glowing indicating to me that they were mana-enhanced.

"Yuki is strong, but their levels aren't the same at all, everything she does he does better." I commented.

"You're right. The world is certainly changing, as for Kathyln, her insane mana pool and her natural compatibility with the ice attribute is what makes her a prodigy, but her control and battle sense are still lacking due to the fact that she hasn't woken up in a long time, that's clear from her battle with Peter."

I focus my gaze on the ice princess, even though I had the elemental advantage she was losing, I glanced at Esdeath who was playing Libythe and her punching bag sidekicks.

"If our princess doesn't do something her uniform will be activated." Drossel's speech made my gaze refocus on Kathyln, who is definitely fighting the most intense battle.

From Kathyln Glayder's point of view

"I must say it's an honor to be able to fight you princess, please don't get me wrong for whatever the results of this fight may be."

I ignored her speech as two ice darts formed around me, their sizes increasing exponentially thanks to the mana contained in the lake.

"Haha! Awesome! As expected of our princess!"

I launch the darts towards Peter, use that brief distraction and fly to the base area in the caves.

'This is very frustrating!' I thought.

My gear was starting to reach its limit, I wasn't sure when this thing was going to start screaming its alarm so I had to get this over with fast.

Yuki and I started to fight when we felt the water start to get rough, my gaze quickly found the source of this sudden turn of events.

"Oh-oh my God." Yuki muttered as he watched our princess shrouded in brilliant silver light.

"Good idea." I commented as I lazily put my hands in my pockets.

Peter's speed and reflexes are several levels above Kathyln's, but her defense seems to be able to allow her more mistakes.

"What's up?" Yuki asked, squinting.

"The emergence of the queen of the seven seas."

From Kathyln Glayder's point of view

I don't know how severe the retreat from that would be, but I had no choice but to try.

I feel a wave of energy building around my body and I am surrounded by a silvery aura.

"First phase, Aequor."
