From Isabelle Winey's point of view

When I got out of the shower attached to my room, I stopped and looked at myself in the mirror, stark naked as droplets of water pooled on my skin.

I thought a cold shower would be enough to quell the rising anger I'd been feeling since the masked announcement, but in the end it didn't do much good.

I had a growing urge to assuage my anger by smashing the mirror in front of me.

'Calm down Isabelle' I thought.

I turn on the sink faucet and wash my face, and when I look back in the mirror I find a disgruntled face staring back at me.

Sighing, I wrap myself in the towel and exit the bathroom, heading to my closet to get dressed.

When I came out of my closet, I found Fluger perched on the glass railing of my bedroom balcony.

"Long time Miss Winey." Fluger said quietly, I honestly still hadn't gotten used to his ability to speak his words never seemed to match the movement of his beak.

But the wyvern in front of me who was now in his white hawk form was why I had some peace of mind when I remembered my son and the dangers he could get into.

"I say the same Fluger."

"Lancelot sent you this." The hawk dropped a vial that contained a light blue liquid.

"What is this?" I asked analyzing the liquid.

"An antidote to the corrupted beasts." Fluger said something so unbelievable in such a normal way.

Gideon, Anning and Miss Watsken were madly studying the corrupted beasts to try to help us, but all the tests they made were fruitless.

"Let's take this now to Gideon and the others." I said turning around and starting towards the door.

"I'm suppressed." Fluger said causing me to cast a glance over my shoulder at him.

"Because?" I questioned him.

"You didn't even doubt my words."

"Why would I doubt it? It's my son we're talking about." I gave him a smile.

From Drossel Manjiro's point of view

"I feel a person approaching." Thorny said, we were in a valley with only a single main road going on.

Thorny was not a very pleasant traveling companion, she doesn't show many traces of joy or happiness, on the contrary, the woman always seems to be serious or bored.

Thorny has an extravagant look compared to the other women, she has a tall stature, extremely white skin and light blue eyes. Her hair is short and black, she has eyes that are practically lifeless, but dark circles, and have a slight outline. Her hair has numerous loose strands around her head, one of which covers her left eye.

On the opposite side of the road.

There was a person wearing a simple white coat made of some kind of fur, because of the hood we couldn't see his face, but because of his body structure he was most likely a man.

Not riding a horse, not riding a carriage, just walking along the road.

It's not like I was totally distracted analyzing the man, but at this point I hadn't realized my traveling companion had a pale face.

"What's up Thorny?" I asked worried.

"Aren't you feeling it?" She answered, her voice cracking.

"Feeling what?" I stared at the man I didn't feel mana or murderous intent leaking out of him.

With each step closer to the man he took, Thorny's expression became even more serious, enough for her to be mistaken for a corpse thanks to the pure white her skin had turned.

I have a memory of that expression.

It's terror.

As I still didn't know what was going on, I silently nodded.

For the time being I was content to simply watch over the situation, suddenly my eyes met the man's which were an amber hue, I would never forget these eyes that belonged to...

Jack Board.

"There is fourth time Jack." I said making him stop walking.

"I see you finally recognized me."

"I never forgot your eyes." My spear materialized in my hand, "Let's begin the second act of our story."
