I fixed my eyes on Kathyln as she returned to her normal form, the ice that was enveloping her slowly melting.

I grabbed her arm and helped her to her feet, "Congratulations on the victory, that last attack was impressive."

The attack that Mitsukurina unverified froze everything it touched, including the mana particles, limiting Peter's use of mana to only that present inside his core, but when the ice crack was about to hit him, Kathyln greatly reduced his strength after all. this was not a war.

"Thanks." Kathyln revealed only a slight smile before heading towards the place where the rest of the staff was.

Kathyln's victory signaled the end of the first test of the exchange, so we all headed out of the lake one after the other and landed softly on the lake shore.

As I left, I spotted Iris and Drossel exchanging gold coins with each other for reasons I don't know, as soon as they were done they eagerly started bombarding us all with suggestions and criticisms.

"Now go and get some rest and come back tomorrow with a renewed mind." Said Iris.

I carefully got up off the floor. "Okay...we'll see you tomorrow then."

"This is amazing, I didn't expect to be able to enter a hot spring here." He spoke kize, with his lips curved in a smile, washed his body and soaked in the bath. "Ahhh...I revived..."

"You'll die if you fall asleep, you know that?" I pointed

"Tess watch out." Ayla's worried voice is from the female area.

"Arthur, it looks like your little princess is in trouble." Kize provoked him, just from the few interactions I saw of Tessia with Arthur I realized that the elf princess had an extra feeling for the auburn haired wizard.

"Hey, why is she sighing, do you happen to miss your girlfriend?" Kize continued his teasing.

"Yes, I miss Claire so much." Arthur spoke sarcastically, he made a point of hissing Claire's name as it would mess with Kize's feelings that she had a crush on Miss Bladeheart.

When I saw that scene I covered my mouth and started laughing.

"What are you laughing at, Lancelot?" Kize exclaimed, as he removed the hand that was blocking my mouth.

"Why don't you guys just confess? I'm sure it's reciprocal." I spoke

"How are you so sure that Claire and I have mutual feelings for each other?"

"It's exactly how it sounds, you can understand it just by looking."

"Did you really hear her say those words?"

"I did not hear anything."

"So how do you say that with such a statement. If it's a misunderstanding, I wouldn't know how to talk to her in the future."

"So you, are you okay with staying like this forever?"

"I-that's..."

"When we get back to Xyrus, make things clear to Miss Bladeheart, Kize. It's better for you to know the answer than to live in bitterness with doubt, the same goes for you Arthur to work things out with Tessia."

"And you Lancelot? If I remember correctly you said you liked someone, who exactly are we talking about?"

"Well that's none of your business." I gave them an amused smile.

While we were showering we were chatting excitedly about all sorts of different subjects until Tessia swung the conversation to the romantic side, the change was so sudden that it made all of us speechless, so Tess took over the conversation.

"So girls, are you interested in any of the boys in our group?" asked Tessia.

"What kind of 'like' are you talking about Tess?" Ayla asked.

"Exactly." Esdeath spoke.

"Like the Romantic type." Tessia spoke.

"Are you asking us this, to see if you have any rivals for Arthur's love?" Esdeath asked playfully.

"Perhaps?" Tessia said as she blushed a little.

"I must admit that Arthur is very handsome, but he's not my type." Our disciplinary committee leader spoke up.

"I say the same." exclaimed Ayla.

"And you Kathy, what do you think of Arthur?" Tessia asked me, she could feel her eyes scanning me.

"I don't like Arthur either." I replied calmly, making Tessia sigh in relief.

"Have you ever kissed anyone?" Iris who was just watching our interaction asked, and I could feel my face burning like a pepper after that question, "Apparently our ice princess has already, who was the lucky one?"

I got up and wrapped myself in my towel, "I think I better leave now." I said as I took quick steps towards the locker room.

As I hummed out of the locker room, I bumped into something and fell to the floor, when I looked up at Lancelot staring at me.

'Did he hear me singing? I'm sure he heard me!'

"You sure are in a good mood, I wanted to take advantage of your good mood and talk to you about some subjects, we can go for a walk."

"Clear."

As I didn't have anything in particular planned, we just went outside to get some fresh air.

The night sky is full of stars, making it a perfect starry sky. As I looked up at the starry sky, I realized once again that I can't find a single constellation that looks familiar.

"Anyway, let's get right down to business," I take a deep breath as I sit on a bench by Mirror Lake, motioning for Kathyln to take a seat as well.

I looked at Kathyln's face, if my face was bright red, and as I looked at Kathyln, I felt a strange, desperate feeling... I...

"I like you, Kathyln." I confessed what I was feeling as the box that contained the small necklace and earrings I'd purchased materialized in my hands.

When Kathyln heard my confession, she stiffened for a while... and then tears fell from her eyes.

"I-I'm so happy... so am I... I like you too... I like you too."

I slowly approached Kathyln's face, slowly approached her thin and delicate lips.

The touch was initially shy, but little by little the shyness was left aside and what was once a simple long peck, ended up becoming an ardent and passionate kiss.
