From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

I smiled when I saw Esdeath's Valkyrie mode armor shatter and she fall unconscious to the ground.

Cynthia came out of the shadows of the arena and went to my friend, after checking that my friend was ok, she came to me.

"Congratulations, Lancelot." Cynthia took my right arm and lifted it, "Lancelot Winey and the winner of the three races tournament."

A round of applause and shouts of congratulations echoed throughout the arena, my gaze started to wander around the arena, my eyes were worried my parents and Sam, I injected mana into my eyes to improve my vision.

When I did that to feel the remaining mana in my core drain away, I was now completely out of mana.

It didn't take long for my eyes to find the three of them, my mom had her hands covering her mouth, her eyes had tears, Sam was waving her arms in happiness in her face there was a smile of joy and pride, my dad was hugging my mother, while he had a kind smile on his face, I gave them a kind smile.

"Ouch." Esdeath said as she started to come to her senses, I smiled and walked over to her.

From the point of view of Roxy Aurae (Esdeath)

I sighed as I realized I had lost the final, as I opened my eyes I saw Lancelot looking at me with a smug smile on his face.

"I won!" He said in a mocking tone.

"Yes you won." I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"It was a good duel." Lance said as he stretched out his arm to me.

"Yes it was," I smiled and accepted his hand and rose from the arena floor, Lancelot, Cynthia and I exited the combat arena to let the earth mages rebuild the arena floor so the awards ceremony could take place.

It didn't take long for the arena to be completely rebuilt and a podium was placed in the center of the arena.

From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

"I see you were holding on to me Lancelot." Someone spoke to me and I turned to see Kezi and all the other tournament participants coming out of one of the many tunnels that gave access to the arena.

I didn't know how to answer his question so I just ruffled my white hair, seeing my action kezi just smiled, when he got in front of me he stretched his arm to me and said "Congratulations on the win."

"Thanks." I responded by accepting his length.

"Congratulations, Lance." Claire spoke as she pulled me into a hug.

Thank you." I replied as I returned his hug.

"I can have a minute of your attention." Cynthia spoke her voice came out imposing and overlapping all the others thanks to the sound magic that contained in her voice, everyone present in the stadium fell silent and turned their attention to Cynthia.

"Thank you," she thanked the silence, "now please welcome the three royal families." A round of applause echoed through the arena crowd, the three royal families came out of a tunnel and onto the podium.

Cynthia took her hand and with that simple action she told the entire stadium, "Now let's start the awards ceremony."

The award ceremony went without any problems, all participants won a bronze medal, just me and Esdeath won different medals, she won a silver and I a gold.

"Next time we meet Lancelot I will defeat you!" Kezi spoke while looking at my gold medal which was the champion's symbol.

"I say the same." Esdeath spoke.

"I would also like to face you Lancelot, I would like to know how far I am from you, the number one rookie." The elves' best competitor Ayla Leone spoke.

"Listen well today we established a hierarchy among the rookies. And I'm the best of us, so you should treat me with more respect, don't you think?" I provoked them.

"Don't be arrogant Lancelot, we can have a rematch right now if you want." Kezi spoke a little annoyed, magna mana began to envelop her body.

"Of course we can, but the result will be the same." I replied calmly.

"You guys stop fighting." Esdeath said as she walked between us, "Kezi don't take what that idiot said so seriously it was just a stupid provocation."

"Yes I know but it still pissed me off." Kezi said frankly while retracting his mana.

"Much better." Esdeath said.

"Lancelot is right." Ayla spoke to our attention, "he's at the top among us, but getting him out of there has become my goal."

"Speaking of meta what are you going to do now?" I asked curiously.

"I think I'll become an adventurer." Ayla spoke excitedly, recently the Adventurer's Guide revoked the rule that prevented elves and dwarves from becoming adventurers, now young people of the three races can become adventurers without any problems.

"I too will become an adventurer." Kezi spoke only without the same enthusiasm as Ayla.

"I'll continue to attend Xyrus academy and maybe in the summer I'll go to the beast glades, face some mana beasts, and you Lancelot?"

"I'm going back to Mayburn and studying more about mana, I want to test some theories I've developed."

From Priscilla Glayder's point of view

"Those four can make an impressive foursome." Virion the former king of the elves spoke as he watched Ayla, Lancelot, Roxy and Kezi discuss their futures.

"Yes, diamonds in the rough will be polished and shaped into a truly beautiful gem." I commented smiling.

"Yes, today a new and beautiful gem was born." Merial Eralith the queen of the elves spoke.

From the point of view of Lancelot Winey (Ayanokoji)

After the award ceremony was over, I went to the stadium locker room to take a shower and change my clothes, after which I went to the box where my parents were.

The cabin is exquisitely designed and furnished. There was a wine rack and a few sofas and tables with seats closer to the window.

As soon as I entered the cabin my mother pulled me into a bear hug, "Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations!" My mother spoke as she placed light kisses on my head.

As soon as my mother released me, Sam pulled me into a hug, "Congratulations Lancelot!" Sam spoke as he ruffled my white hair.

After Sam went to my dad's farm, he gave me a quick hug while saying, "I'm proud of you."

I have to admit, being congratulated by people who truly care about you isn't such a bad feeling.
