15- Unexpected visit.

Elias' pov:

A few days later I had my first shift. 6pm to 10pm or was it 10:30? I mean it isn't that bad since it's only 4 hours but it's a little late but it is a bar so I'm not surprised.

"Adelynn!" I shout to her. "What?" She yells back. "Can you make me a coffee, I have a late shift tonight!" I ask her.

"Yeah sure! What time do you finish?" She asks. "Um I think it was 10! Maybe 10:30! I'm not sure but I'll let you know!" I answer her.

I'm pretty sure it's 10 but like I said I'm not completely sure. I got my coffee and got my stuff and headed out. "I'm off Adelynn!" I yell to her.

"Alright! Let me know when you are on your way back!" She requested. "Yep I will." I know I don't need to tell her everything but she does care about me even if sometimes she doesn't act like it.

I drive for about 10 minutes which is good because the place is close to the apartment. I'm going to be honest it is very relaxing driving while the sun is setting.

Anyway after about 10 minutes I arrive to the pub and it looks decent I guess. I walked in and no one was here yet apart from a few people and the manager I think.

"Hi, you must be Elias Heart right?" I turn around to see a tall man looking down at me. "Um yeah. I'm guessing you're the manager?" I question.

He can tell I'm nervous I mean I am nervous but am I making it that obvious? He walks over to the bar and I follow after him.

"So, you ever worked at a bar before?" He asks. "No I haven't this is actually my first job." I exclaim.

He explained a few things I needed to know and about 2 hours later people started coming in and it was honestly quite exciting.

"Hey, what can I get you?" I ask this tallish dude who looked a bit intimidating. "I'll take a tequila shot." He said coldly.

I don't know what peoples problems are lately but it seems as everyone is moody. I got him the shot and gave it to him and he drank it as soon as I gave it to him. Damn.

It was about 9:45pm and I was leaving in 15 minutes before I saw the manager rush out of the bar sorting his outfit and hair out, maybe his girlfriend is here haha.

"Hey my shift ends in 15 would you mind doing these few orders while I get my stuff from the back room?" I asked Haze. Haze was one of the guys who worked on the bar with me he is actually really nice.

"Yeah sure go get your stuff I'll be good here." He answered. I gave him a thumbs up and as I was about to go into the back room I saw something I never thought I'd see.

Ryle and the manager walked through the door and everyone started clapping and whistling. Maybe he's an regular? "I want him." I heard Ryle's voice say.

"Elias!" I heard my manager call me over. Fuck. Did I mess up on my first day? I walked over to them both.

"Sorry sir I was just getting my stuff my shift ends in 10 minutes. I can stay on the bar for another 10 minut-" I get cut off by him saying "no Elias you aren't in any sort of trouble you did a wonderful job on your first day but this is a loyal person to this bar and he wants you to come into the private room with him to serve him drinks and stuff."

What the hell? I mean I know Ryle but why me I'm not even that good at my job yet. "Um no offence sir but it's only my first day I doubt I could serve a VIP guest."

I know that is probably a bad thing to say but it's true. My manager was about to say something before Ryle grabbed my arm and starting pulling me away.
