17- Crush.

Elias' pov:

Adelynn walked in she looked completely zoned out. "Adelynn? You good?" I ask her. She turns to me, smiles and says "Yeah I'm good, why?"

"Nothing you just looked a bit tired.." Yeah this is definitely weird. She probably got kidnapped by mind controlling aliens and they made her care haha.

"Want some tea or coffee?" I ask her. "Sure. Can I have a black tea?" She replies. She never has black tea unless she's done something.

"Yeah, what did you do?" I walk over to the kettle and fill it with water. "Nothing I just fancy a black tea."

"Hmm ok also I need to talk to you about something that has been bothering me for a while." I sigh.

"Good or bad?" She asks. I'm going to be honest I don't know whether it's good or not. "

"Um I'm not too sure I guess you will have to decide when I tell you.." I scratch the back of my neck nervously.

"Oh. my. god! You like someone!!" She yells to me. What?! How does she know.. "I- uh maybe?" I sigh. "You scratched your neck so either you killed someone or THE Elias Heart has a crush on someone!!"

She is never going to stop teasing me until I tell her I know that. "I guess well I didn't kill anyone and yeah I have a slight crush that I need help with."

Why am I such an idiot! "Wait do I know him? Is he hot? Come on you have to tell me!" She cries out.

"Yes you know him, I would say he's kind of hot and I'm going to tell you after I've made your tea, Ok?" I roll my eyes and laugh a bit. "Hurry then I wanna know!"

I chuckle as I pour the tea slower "hurry!!!!" That's all I could hear from her for the next few minutes until it finally gets annoying so I hurry up.

I sat down next to her as she takes her tea. "Right tell me!"

"Finee. You know him and we have known him for a while about a month and a half to two months." I nervously laugh.

Her face went paler than a ghost I think she knows.. "You like Ryle don't you." She said in a serious tone. "Yeahh..." I say as my voice grows quieter.

She is staring at me blankly she looks so pissed off. Fuck. "That is slightly unexpected but it's ok if you like him" She smiled as she said that.

She did mumble something after but I couldn't make out what she said. "You're ok with me liking him? You don't really seem too fond of him Addie.." I nervously speak.

"Elias, I can't stand in the way of love especially when it's you!" She laughed a bit after she said that. Something about this isn't right about this.

She hates Ryle she told me so why is she acting like hes perfect for me.. At least I think she is? "Well I'm going to go meet Ace he said he wanted to see me today I was going to go to him until you told me that you liked Ryle." She said grabbing her bag and sunglasses.

"Oh alright. How long will you be?" I ask her. "Um I'm not too sure depends how long Ace needs me." I don't even know an Ace..

Adelynn's pov:

You have got to be fucking kidding me. I walk out of the door and slam it behind me. He likes Ryle?!

Out of everyone he could like he likes Ryle why though why fall for someone like him especially with a certain fact. I get in the car.

"Hey Zane." Zane is my personal driver. Ryle told him to be my driver at all times, I'm not too sure why but hey at least I get a driver.

"Where to miss?" He asked. "To Ryle, do you know where he is?" I reply back. "Of course ma'am."

He is so professional around me, I keep telling him he doesn't have to be but he has to follow his 'bosses rules' so he has to stay professional.

It can be annoying but it feels.. good? To like be treated like someone. Within what felt like seconds we had arrived.

"Miss we are here. Would you like me to stay and wait for you or come with you?"

"I'm ok Zane, Ryle has told his men I'm not a threat although I didn't really prove that the other day but I should be fine. I mean if I can fool their boss I don't think any of them will even think of hurting me." I smiled at him and put my hand up to say thank you as he sat in the car.

I burst the double doors open and walked in. "Lucas! Where is your boss is he still recovering?" I say to one of them. He just stared at me, weirdo.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the next person. "Jake? Tell me where Ryle is I need to speak with him, if, of course, you don't mind?"

I put my hand on his shoulder and grip onto it. "He um is in his office Adelynn- miss I mean."

Sometimes I wonder why he still has these people in his mafia they can't even look me in the eyes. I roll my eyes at my own thoughts and make my way up to his office.

I slam the door open. "For god sake how many times do I need to say to knock!" That's all I heard when I opened the door.

"I do what I want thanks." He looked up and I smiled, he just gave me the typical 'I'm pissed off look' which isn't a good look on him to be honest.

"I see you leg has recovered?" I chuckle a bit but doesn't look like he finds it funny. He cleared his throat and proceeded to say "what can I help you with? I'm fairly busy at the moment."

What a bore I'd have more fun with my father and he's boring as fuck. "Just came to tell you something."

"And what would this something be?" He lifts his head up from his paper and eyes me. "You are not to go near Elias at the moment not until I say it's ok to, understand?"

I explain, his head shot up and he put everything down. "Care to explain why." He spoke with a serious tone, I'm not going to tell him because I don't want Elias to end up with him out of all people.

"No, I'm not going to explain you will either listen and live or not listen and well let's just say it won't be very nice. I'll say it again. Do you understand me." I stare back at him.

"And if I don't listen to you? Just remember Adelynn I'm the one with a mafia." I love how he thinks he scares me, acting like he's the only one who's done bad things.

"And I'm the one who can spill your secret to Elias so you seriously think he will go near you after he finds out how 'dangerous' you are?" I scoffed at him.

"Anything else?" He asks as he started writing again. "Nope!" I walk out and close the door behind me. I walk down and Alec is there.

"Hey Alec!" I raise my voice towards him. "Hey Addie." Addie? The only person who calls me that is Elias but that's fine I don't really mind if he calls me that.

"What were you doing in Ryle's office?" He asked me. I laughed a bit. "I kind of threatened him again." I say while laughing a bit more.

"You did not!" He puts his hand over his mouth. "I diddd" I realise I smile a lot around him.

"I really need to get back to Elias I told him I was meeting Ace but he's in Italy at the moment. Woops" I say as I rush off.

"Bye Addie!" Alec yells at me and I just wave and get in the car. "Did it go well miss?" Zane asked. "Yes Zane let's go home." I say to him. "Of course ma'am." And with that we headed home.

Ok so fun fact I kinda forgot about Jax and I really can't be arsed to write more about Jax he just ain't really that interesting so sorryyy. Is any of ya'll found him cool I'm so sorry it's just I cant find any way to fit him in.
