58- Happiness.

Elias's pov:

"You know, I'm so much happier with you." I stated looking up at Ryle while I was laying on him. He was staring at the wall slightly tapping his lip with his finger, I'm wondering what he's thinking about.

"What are you thinking of?" I asked him adding onto what I said. "How life would be better without being Rivera, without having to be constantly worried about something happening to the people I care about." He replied not looking away from the wall once.

I took my hand and put it on the side of his face and turned it to look at me, he seemed to of sighed slightly or it could of been a normal breath. "I'm not going anywhere, I know you won't let anything bad happen to me. Nor you or Adelynn will let anything happen, you might of forgotten that Adelynn took a bullet for me even though she already got shot and you did everything you could to keep me from this life but Ryle I don't mind being in this sort of life style as long as it's with you." I explained, he continued to stare into my eyes as I stared back smiling.

"I just wish we weren't in this life style, we could be happy without fear of being hurt." He answered back, I sat myself up slightly and kissed him for a couple seconds. "We'll be okay." I spoke after I pulled back.

"As much I'd like to stay here with you we have to get up, I think it's like 10:30 or something." I added on sitting up properly, moving over to the end of the bed and standing up. I stretched and felt a couple of hands fall onto my waist, then the side of a face on my back.

"Do we have to get up?" Ryle asked me groaning, he was still tired I could tell. It was probably from last night even though I should be the one who's tired not him. "Yes we do, you have work and I want to come to your meetings. You'll be late if you don't get up now." I spoke, I was about to walk away but I got dragged down onto the bed with Ryle holding me from the side refusing to let me go.

"You'll be late." I added on with his head buried into me. "I'm the boss, I decide who's late and who isn't and in this case we aren't late until I say so." His muffled voice replied to me.

"Ryle." I spoke, his head lifted up. "Love?" He replied in question, I hate when he calls me that because I love it so much I can't say no.

He was smirking so he knew what he'd done, I mean who am I kidding? Of course he knew what he had done. "You know I can't say no when you call me that." I stated while letting my head fall back into the pillow, he lifted himself up so I could see his face clearly above mine.

"I know, that's why I said it. Let's at least shower before we get up because we didn't after last night." He suggested, I gave him a confused look. "We?" I questioned him. "Yes, we." He replied as he picked me up in his arms and carried me over to the bathroom.

He placed me down and I stood there while he ran the water, I didn't realise he had a bath in his bathroom I actually thought he only had showers. He didn't really seem like a bath type of guy to me but I guess I learn new things each day about him.

A few minutes had gone by, he'd done a bubble bath with the water quite deep so it would cover us entirely. He got in first and then I got in, he moved over slightly and I sat next to him. I lent my head back and he put his arm around me.

"Don't do anything, I want to relax." I stated as I lifted my head up and then put it on his chest. "Thought we were going to be late?" He answered trying to be funny.

"I don't care anymore, you were right you're the boss you get to decide who's late and who isn't." I spoke back. "Y no vamos a llegar tarde." 'And we aren't going to be late' I added on. I looked up at him and he looked slightly confused.

"What was that?" He asked me, how has he never heard me speak Spanish. "You've never heard me speak Spanish?" I replied back questioning him as I sat up slightly. "No. You've never spoken it around me." He exclaimed, my jaw dropped in shock. How have I never? "My dad is Spanish, I'm literally half Spanish that's why I speak it." I spoke with a laugh in my voice.
