hammock:)

you were eating some cereal at the counter really wishing kit could be their with you. he had just called you saying that he was going to be late, everyday he would call saying he was going to get home late, you had felt like you and him were growing apart. last night when he got home he didn't go up to the room with you but slept on the couch. it really upset you and you weren't sure how to move on with your relationship. the sunset was extremely beautiful, you decided to lay in the hammock and watch the sunset. you walked out barefoot wearing spandex and a really big sweatshirt. you slowly got into it carefully to it too it over, you laid down and watched the sunset. at some point you fell asleep.
when kit got home he called out your name to no prevail, you didn't answer.  he looked everywhere frantically searching for you, he called your phone to find it laying on the countertop. he ran outside to find you laying on the hammock. he walked up to you and saw you sleeping, he stared at your peaceful face, you rested without a care in the world. he touched your face with the back of his hand to slowly wake you up. your eyes fluttered open, you happily woke up but as soon as you saw his face your smile quickly vanished.
"sit up",kit said "i want to sit with you."
you sat up and he slowly at behind you. he payed down and grabbed your shoulders and pulled you down with him. uneasy you laid you head on his shoulder.
"y/n , i'm so sorry. i feel like we have been really distant lately and i don't want that."
you relaxed at his grip.
"me too", your eyes welled up.
"i feel like you don't want to be with me anymore. you never take the time talk to me or anything."
his arms went to your shoulders and started to massage them. you turned you head to look at him.
"i want to love you but it's hard when you don't want to love me."
"i really do want to love you, because i am in love with you and nothing will change that."
he kissed your forehead and took his sweatshirt off. he laid it on top of you to keep you warm.
"i love you y/n, i really really do. and i want you to love me.'
"i love you too", you said looking at him.
you nuzzled into his side and let out a long held in breath.
