Wednesday, after school, Peter and Lyla appeared in the common room. Her and Pietro make eye-contact and quickly looked away as she sits down.

Peter was all smiles at the fact that their little trap didn't work. He thinks it gave him a better chance at getting her to like him.

The others hated how quiet the two were being. They don't know what happened but, it definitely wasn't good.

But, it was. No one knows that, though.

No arguing. No swearing or flipping each other off. It's too quiet and bugging everyone but, they don't know what they can do about it. They started this whole thing so, it's probably not a good idea to try and fix it, most likely making it worse.

The two sit there, staring at the floor while picking at some part of their skin, thinking about the words in the cell.

Wanda wants to read his mind but, fears it's not the best idea. He might not want her to, anyway.

Peter started talking to Lyla as she talked back. Pietro listened and when he heard the laugh he hadn't heard in over a day, he felt something. His stomach turned and his heart pounded faster than it already does. He was excited to hear that noise but, he didn't like that Peter brought it out of her.

Was he jealous?

He didn't want to believe so but, he knew there was no point in denying it.

He's jealous and he hates it.

Peter was freaking out inside. His thoughts were screaming with excitement and Wanda didn't like it either but, she wasn't going to do anything about it. It wasn't her place so, she has nothing to say.

Except for the fact that she has plenty to say, just won't be saying any of it.

No one realized that Lylas laughs were horribly fake. She didn't find any of it funny, just a good actress. Had to be in Hydra so, she could get out of being hurt. It rarely worked but, it still did sometimes and she was very good at it.

She couldn't stop thinking about Pietro, neither. It's very difficult to get him out of her head, making her realize, it always has been.

Lyla always thought he was gorgeous.

Always thought he was funny but, seen as a Sokovian Bastard.

The attitude he has is cute and funny and she always wanted to laugh but, held it in everytime.

Hating him was easier.

That's what she thought.

She was wrong.

It's so much easier laughing with him and smiling with him. The way he laughs at her jokes sometimes always sends a shiver down her spine and makes her hold down her smile.

She doesn't know what to do.

What can she do?

Nothing. She can't do a damn thing.

~

Pietro realizing his jealousy set his brain a flame.

What's going on?

He shouldn't be feeling this.

Why was he feeling this?

Did he like her?

No.

She's pretty, though. And funny. Smart.

Who was he kidding?

She's gorgeous.

Pietro sat quiet in thought. His brows were furrowed and hands folded in front of him. He couldn't get her out of his head.

Just like Lyla with him, he never could.

Lyla was always his first thought when he woke up. He always figured it was because, he was finding ways to mess with her but, now he realizes that those thoughts didn't even cross his mind.

Pietro thought about Lyla because he wanted to see her everyday. He looked forward to talking to her even if it was to argue with him. The attention she gave him when she spoke to him was all he wanted from her.

Now, he realizes he wants more from her.

More of her.

He doesn't know what to do.

What can he do?

Nothing. He can't do a damn thing.
