The Event From Hell

Tonight was the party. Aries and I went shopping and I picked out a beautiful dress. I made sure Aries didn't see which one I picked telling him it was a surprise. It was an emerald green that matched his eyes. It was sleeveless, and went straight down. Simple and elegant. It came with a shawl so I didn't show to much skin and I grabbed a nice pair of heels that would go great with the dress. It had a long slit to show some leg, that I know Aries would appreciate. I was excited to wear it. Kourtney came over since she was attending the event also. 

"Hello, Hello." she said laying her dress on the bed. "Hey." I said coming out of the bathroom with my hair in a towel. "Are you excited for tonight?" "OH yes, so excited to be around people who don't like me." I told sitting at my vanity. "That family likes you especially Aries, and that is all that matters." "I don't want to be the reason he has issues with his family." "Girl, what do expect when you are dating the most eligible, hottest, smartest, and richest guy in this state. There are going to be some complications." "A whole family of complications?" She shrugged her shoulders and headed out to the balcony. "He hasn't even come over since he went back home." "He is just playing it safe." she said lighting a cigarette. I sat down in the other chair facing away from the mansion. "I guess you are right." I said lighting up a cigarette. 

"I am always right, now I am going to wash my hair." she said putting out her cigarette and heading to my bathroom. "This night will be good." I said heading inside. My mom came up and helped me and Kourtney. Michelle also showed up and to help out. I finished straightening my hair and then my curled my ends. She said I looked like sleeping beauty and Kourtney looked like Belle from Disney. I had my mom zip my dress. "You look impeccable." my mom said just staring at me. "You think, its not to much?" "No honey you are perfect. That dress was made for you." she had tears. Kourtney came out in a beautiful blue dress. It had a spaghetti strap that  had gemstones, it was tight around her waist and then went straight now but with a slight flare at the bottom, mermaid style they call it. "I can't believe how gorgeous you two are." Michelle said holding a camera. She took some pictures. "Mom, stop being annoying." she said heading to the big mirror putting gemstone clips in her hair to keep in out of her face. 

"One nice picture please." Michelle said. Kourtney and I stood next to each other smiling for the camera. Both moms kept taking pictures. Our eyes started to hurt. "Okay mom, this isn't prom or anything." "Hey you girls are with some wonderful men, and you are on their arms make them even better." Michelle said. "Thank you." we both said. Michelle kept taking pictures. "Come on, Michelle we have a large bottle of wine to drink." she said pulling her out of the room. 

"Thank god, I need a cigarette." Kourtney said heading out to the balcony. I followed. "You are so pretty." I told her. She pulled her leg up and fixed her shoes, making the strap tighter. "Thank you beautiful, but these shoes are going to kill me." She said placing her foot back down. I took some fresh air in. "Are you alright?" "Ya, I mean no. I mean..." "Nervous?" she said. "Yeah, I just want this night perfect." I said grabbing a cigarette. "Or is the fact that you and Aries hasn't seen each other for the last 3 or 4 nights. Sex withdraw." I started laughing. "Absence makes the heart grown fonder." I told her, sipping some water. "Amen." "So Gabe met the parents huh." "Yeah I was going to tell you, but I have been so busy. College applications, and visiting campus." she said grabbing mints from her purse handing me some. I took some and headed back inside. The doorbell rang. We both smiled and grabbed our things. Kourtney went down first, with Gabe waiting for her. His suit was navy blue and they matched perfectly. His white shirt was bright and crisp. He looked very mature. "You look stunning." He told her kissing her cheek. Then he seen me coming down the stair.  He smiled. Aries came in, his hands in his pockets. Black on black, he is a god. A smile spread across his face. "You are a Goddess." he said taking me in his arms. "Your not to bad looking yourself. " I told him touching his cheek. "I love you." he said. We all gasped.
