End of Summer

"Aries?" Drake said coming into the kitchen. "Hey man." "I can't believe summer is almost over man, I am dreading classes." he said grabbing a water from the fridge. "Ya me too." I said drinking my juice. "It's to early for practice, I already miss sleeping in. Maybe you should talk to the coach about later start time, Mr. Captain." he said rubbing my head and taking a seat. "Ya wishful thinking." "Will you be home late Aries?" Laurie asked setting muffins on the table. "Ya probably, don't worry about dinner for me." I told her. She nodded and headed into the other room. "You ready man?' I asked getting up. "Ya, oh wait here." Drake said setting the blue box on the table. I looked at it. "She didn't want it. Well she said and these are her words...Fuck off." Drake slid the box closer to me. I huffed, and sighed. "Sorry Bro." he got up, walking past me setting his hand on my shoulder. I have lost her. I slammed my hands on the table then ran my fingers through my hair. Laurie came in with a look of worry on her face. I looked at her. Before she could say anything I left. 

Dimitri was walking in, I pushed him out of my way. "Have a good practice." he called. I gave him the finger and headed out the door. "What was that all about?" he asked Laurie sitting at the table. "This is guess." she handed him the box. He looked perplexed. He opened the box and sat back. "What is it?' she asked giving him some coffee. "Looks like someone is in love." Dimitri said showing her the necklace. "It's beautiful." "Ya an expensive." "What does that have to do with anything." "He knows what our father said. He needs to worry about school, and the future of the business. Women are not in the plan." "Is that why we stopped?' she said. The anger in his face when he looked at her. "Hello my wonderful boy." His mother entered. Dimitri placed the box in his pocket. "Good morning mother." He stood kissing his cheek. Gabe entered the kitchen. "Has Aries left already?' she asked taking a seat at the table. "Yes, he had practice." he answered her. "Good." she smiled, while Laurie placed her coffee in front of her.

"Good morning everyone." "Good morning Father." Both boys said. "Aries at practice?" he asked reading the paper. "Yes sir." "It is wonderful he made Captain." Arti said sipping her coffee. "Indeed." Laurie placed food on the table. "I have obtained some tickets for the ballet, there are some wonderful words about the performances. It will be in a few Months, I got us all tickets, even you Laurie." she smiled. "Thank you ma'ma, that is a wonderful gift." she told her. "My friend Phoenix is one of the performers." Gabe said. Jarvis put his paper down and looked at him. 
"The girl next door?" his mother asked. Dimitri sat back in his chair. "The girl that has been over here, that was with Aries." Jarvis asked. "Yes sir, she is very talented. She does these flips and everything." he said grabbing a muffin. Dimitri shock his head. " Well this should be interesting." Jarvis said. "I don't think it will be a problem father, he has been obeying and is at practice, he haven't seen her." Dimitri interjected. "Why hasn't he seen here, have they been together?' She asked. "I don't think we should be talking about Aries, when he is not here." Gabe said, he stood excusing himself. The three of them looked at each other.

                                                                          -Practice-

We got to practice and was hanging out in the locker room before practice. Drake was on the phone. "That is great Kourtney, I am glad you are having fun. Ya mom is doing good, she misses you. When does your flight come in? Ya sure I can pick you guys up, if Phoenix's mom isn't able to." I grabbed his shoulder. He looked at me. "Alright I got to go sis, ya Later." he hung up. "What's up bud." "Where are you picking up Kourtney and Phoenix from?" I asked him. He sucked on his teeth. "Sorry man, I can't tell you. Phoenix asked me not to." "Where is she, where has she been?" I pushed. Drake rolled his eyes. "Look man I don't want involved." he taking his seat. "You are involved." I told him. "You are my best friend aren't you?' "Ya fine. She is in Paris." He showed me a picture of her and Kourtney in front of the Eiffle Tower. She was beautiful, her hair was down and curly. Her tan was still nice and dark. Her outfit was tight jeans and a belly T-shirt, her and Kourtney just got there belly button pierced. Her smile brought many memories back. I touched the screen as if I was touching her face. Drake grabbed his phone. 

"Dude, I am sorry I didn't tell you." "Let me see your pictures." I said to him. "Man come on." "Show me." He brought them up. Multiple pictures of them in Paris. They were everywhere and anywhere. She looked great in every single picture. I smiled at the one that she took of Phoenix's ass in a new pair of jeans, caption says. "Her fucking ass is tight. Wish mine was."  Her ass was fucking outstanding. I kept going threw them when I see one of her with some guy. He was kissing her. Anger filled my body. I handed Drake his phone. I grabbed my gear and started getting ready, for practice. Once I was done, I yelled for everyone to get on the field. 

A few hours later, I did not lose a lot of my anger. She was kissing someone else. She is still mad at me, even though I can't blame her for it, she doesn't understand. I want to tell her, but I am chicken shit. I don't want to get into it with my father. I don't want to disrespect my father but I want her more. I will get her back. I will do anything to get her back.
