The Aftermath.

"Aries?' Gabe said putting his hand on my shoulder. I shrugged it off and headed towards my father. Gabe grabbed me and stopped me. "Not here, we have to go find Phoenix." Just then Jarvis came over. "You leave and we will have issues." he told me. "I am going to find her, if something happens to here, I will never speak to you again, and for this you can go to hell." Aries said. "You listen to me boy, I am paying for your life and you will be ruined." "I am not competition." I told him. "You parade that girl around like she is a trophy." She is not a trophy she Is who I love, who makes me a better person and you just ruined it so guess what dad, your plan worked." 

Kourtney got ahold of Drake and he quickly came and got us ,luckily he wasn't to far away. He took us back to his and Kourtney's house. I knew Aries would show up at mine. It was less likely that Drake would let him see me. I cried and cried. Once we reached Kourtney's she gave me some clothes and I sat in her room crying. When she came back upstairs, all she did was hold me. She told her mom what happened and then Michelle called my mom. She wanted to talk to me so she came over and hugged me tight. "Let me take you home baby? I don't want to leave you?" "Its fine, mom." I whimpered. "I can't go home right now. I can't see that house." I told her. "I am gonna worry." "I will be fine, I promise, I just need to cry and sleep." I said smoking a cigarette by the window. She kissed my forehead and told Kourtney to call for anything.

Sure enough Aries went to my house. My mom told him I wasn't home. "Please where is she?" "Aries, my daughter is broken. She needs time and space. All I can say is that she is safe and you need to go home." and she closed the door, it was raining hard now. The rain came out of nowhere. He got in his car and it wouldn't start. He was out of gas from driving around looking for her. He messaged Drake but he never responded. He quickly got out of his car and started running. She was at Kourtney and Drakes. He ran as fast as he could. Completely out of breath he made to their front door and started pounding on it and ringing the doorbell. Michelle answered the door. "Aries, you can't come in. I am sorry but you have to go." "She's here, please I have to talk to her. I need to see her." Drake came out and pushed his friend back, not rough put with enough pressure to have him move. "Bro, calm down man, come on." Drake said getting drenched. "Drake buddy come on let me in. I have to see her." "No, I won't have this here, just give her sometime." he said to his friend. "I can't breath without her." he cried. "I get it man, honestly I do, but right now you need to do what she wants and she needs some time." he reasoned with him. Aries backed off. He ran his hands through his hair. "I can't lose her." "Then stand up to your father and fix things or you will lose her. Come on I will take you home." "No, I need to walk." Aries started to walk away. "Just tell her I love her, please man." he said before walking away.

I sat there hearing his voice, pleading to see me. I can't take it, I cover my ears and cry. Kourtney hugs me tighter. "You are doing the right thing." she whispered. "Then why do I feel empty." I cried back. "It will never work between you and him if he doesn't fix this, he should of fixed this before taking you to this party." "How can someone be so hurtful. How could he sleep with that bitch. How am I a fucking plan." I screamed and stood. I felt dizzy and grabbed the desk. "Phoenix?' Kourtney worried. All I seen was black.

"Mom!!!!!" Kourtney screamed. Michelle ran up and saw Kourtney holding Phoenix. "Drake call an ambulance. He ran in and seen Phoenix. "Holy shit." he started dialing. "Phoenix, come on baby, wake up for me." Kourtney started crying. "Mom, what is wrong, what is going on?" "They are on there way." Drake yelled. He came over to Kourtney hugging her tight. Blood was coming from Phoenix head. it wasn't back but a small slash at her hairline. "Come on baby girl wake up." she checked her pulse. "Good, that's right sweet heart wake up." Phoenix just laid there not moving.

Aries: I was almost home and seen and ambulance rushing past me. I headed up my driveway and into my room. I quickly changed my clothes and sat at the window, that showed me her balcony. It was so dark. A small knock on the door and Laurie comes in. "The party must of went well." she said. "It did for my father." I told her continuing to look out. "Can I get you anything?" "No, I just want to be left alone." I told her. She closed the door. It wasn't much longer that Laurie was at my door again. I was told to be downstairs for a family meeting. I sighed and headed down. 

"Now that everything is back to normal. This merger is going to be great for the company. It will good and ready for you when you start Harvard or Yale Aries." he said pouring a drink. Arti sat at the chair staring at Aries. Dimitri was on the couch and Gabe on the loveseat. "Are you seriously sitting here talking about the company when you have destroyed everything in my life." Aries said. Dimitri sat back. Jarvis looked at his son. "You will do as I say." "I Will Not. This is my life. I worked hard at school, soccer, and I have no problem giving  my all in college so that I can make you proud and work for the company. I did everything you forced on us." He argued. "And then you sit there and rip away the most important person in my world. She would of never destroyed our image, you do that." Aries pointed his finger at his father. "How dare you boy!!" " I am not a boy!! I have done everything, EVERYTHING!!!!" he yelled. "All you worry about is that damn company. It doesn't make you happy. Mom isn't happy. Gabe isn't happy. Your image would be destroyed. How about the little slut you sleep with. How about the image with that." Aries yelled. Arti closed her eyes. Jarvis just looked at him in shock. "We all know about it. Why do you think our mother is always in California because she can't stand looking at you. Pulling out for pictures and then leaving for weeks on end. Its not for meeting, no its for your little girlfriend." 

"How dare you say this to me."  "I don't hear you deny it. I hack computers Father and I have seen some pretty interesting shit on there. You have my brother working tooth and nail so that you can go on these trips. You have him acting just like you, so he can cover your ass." Gabe could not believe what he was hearing. Arti stayed quiet but tears fell. "You preach and preach about loyalty and sacrifice yet you do none of it. Have you ever been in love, do you even know what it feels like?" I have sacrificed plenty for you boys." "Except your time and expectations. I am competition to you because I will out do you, I will better the company, and with Phoenix, a person who loves me for me, will be by myside." 

"Aries!!" Gabe stood. "MUSC hospital, Its Phoenix, they are taking her by ambulance." Gabe told him. "What?" Aries said rushing out the door. "Damnit my car its out of gas." "Take mine." Dimitri said handing him the keys. Aries grabbed them and rushed out the door. Arti stood. "Arti?" Jarvis said. "Get in the car, we are heading to the hospital all of us." Arti said. Gabe grabbed his stuff and they all followed. The rain was falling fast and hard. The car had good tires but Aries was still going to fast. He made it to the hospital and bolted inside. "Phoenix Mancuso, where is she? "She is heading into surgery, 5th floor." "Surgery? What is wrong?' "Are you family?" "I am her boyfriend." "I am sorry only family is aloud that information." He ran to the elevator, they was taking to long. He found the stairs and started running up them, being an athletic person this was easy for him, usually, his Tennis shoes he slipped on were wet, and the floor seemed slick. Almost falling but he pushed through and made it to the 5th floor. Drake was standing there holding Kourtney who was crying.

"Where is she, what is going on?" Aries yelled breathing heavy. "She just blacked out and fell, she hit her head and wouldn't wake up." Kourtney cried. "They are prepping her for surgery. Her mom is on her way." Drake said. "It was horrible, my poor best friend." Kourtney said.
