Chaeryeong's POV

I shouldn't have acted that way right? I felt guilty for being like that to Ryujin. I mean she's the CEO and she had the right to talk to those who are applying for the job in her company. I was being overdramatic.

Sometimes I hate myself for that, acting like I'm always the correct one when most of the time I'm not. I wasn't in the place to choose who'll be at the company. I was just her secretary after all.

"You seem so busy thinking there Chaeryeong" I heard, I looked up and saw Jiwon unnie and Chaeyoung unnie looking at me. We were at the café right now, having our break.

"It's nothing" I lied and continued to drink my coffee

"You know you can't just hide what you're thinking. Is it something between you and umm.... you know who" Chaeyoung unnie said

"Yeah.... I was being overdramatic a while ago in the office" I said and sighed

"Why though?" Jiwon unnie asked

"Well, there's this lady who was applying for a position in the financial department. Don't get me wrong but what she was wearing wasn't even that appropriate for work" I defended

"Oh, I saw a lady a while ago going up, she was wearing some quite revealing clothes" Chaeyoung unnie said and I nodded

"That, and then I was like getting jealous when she and... you know who.... were like talking. I swear she was like flirting at her because of her voice. And then when the lady left she asked me what's wrong and then my attitude towards her wasn't that good" I said

"I get it that you were jealous but then, you're not usually like that. Last time you didn't had problems about employees who were applying for a job here" Jiwon unnie said

"That's the point, this one was like flirting with her" I said

"Don't tell me it's that time of the month. I mean, she won't understand how it works since she doesn't experience it" Chaeyoung unnie said

"Actually, it is. I hate this darn period that makes me act all different suddenly at the most random times" I said and sighed once again

"It's normal to have mood swings you know. I think you just need to talk it out with her and you two will be in good terms now" Jiwon unnie said

"I don't know, she didn't even stopped me from leaving the office to talk it out. Maybe I was so fast in storming out" I said and they nodded

Ryujin's POV

"STUPID! you should've stopped her from leaving the office!" Winter said and slapped my shoulder

"Yah!"

"She's right Ryujin, you should've chased after her" Minnie then told me

"She was walking fast okay? she was so mad" I said

"We already told you about that. Chaeryeong gets sensitive when other girls flirt with you. To remind you, you're her first and never in her life anyone else asked her out" Isa told me

Isa was right. Chaeyeon told me about Chaeryeong before, Chaeryeong wasn't that much social in school and none of her classmates would like ask her out.

"Have you messaged her?" Minnie asked me

"I did, just a couple of minutes ago" I said and Minnie nodded

"But still you're so stupid" Winter said to me and I was baffled

"So surprised to hear that from you Winter" I said and looked at her

"Why? it's true tho, You should've stopped her from leaving her office. Talked it out on her coz maybe it's just that time of the month" Winter told me

"W-what?" I asked, being confused

"What she meant is having a period. It can come regularly or not which means it can happen to a female every month or occasionally" Minnie explained

"Yeah, some females who get their period have major mood swings and get more sensitive and insecure" Isa added

"Oh...." I trailed off

"Yeah right" Winter said and rolled her eyes at me

"Stop it will you? I'll figure it out" I said

"Goodluck on that" Minnie told me and then continued to do her work. I'm at her office right now, well all of us were since my office was under renovation, Winter had nothing to do and Isa usually hangs out with Minnie.

Hours passed and I was waiting for a reply from Chaeryeong. I was worried of course, it was my fault for not following her. I left Minnie's office first and made my way up to Chaeryeong's

As I got there, she wasn't inside. The office was empty and her desk was already clean. Did she left early and not tell me? Was she that mad at me?

I tried calling her but she wasn't answering, I sighed. Maybe she's with Yuna right? or probably Yeji unnie and Lia unnie.

I tried to call Lia unnie

"Hey Ryu, need anything?"

"Hi unnie, I just wanna ask if Chaeryeong's with you?"

"Aniyo, she would've texted me if she wanted to hang out. Maybe she's with Yuna or probably her friend Natty remember? or maybe at Karina's"

"Oh okay, I'll ask them. Thank you unnie"

"Sure, no problem"

I ended the call with Lia unnie and talked to the ones she suggested. Of course I asked Karina unnie first and she said she didn't saw Chaeryeong since she was at the house. Natty said she was busy with school and couldn't even get a reply from Chaeryeong. Lastly Yuna, I was about to call her when she suddenly called me first.

"What?"

"Is Chaeryeong unnie with you? please tell me she is"

"N-no, I guess she left early from work. Maybe at her apartment already why?"

"Shit"

"Don't you cuss at me young lady"

"That doesn't matter okay? just go to Chaeryeong unnie quick"

"Why?" I asked as I was making my way to Minnie's office to get my stuff so I could leave

"Appa went here unnie, and I think he found out you're dating someone. He saw the spare keys you had from Chaeryeong unnie's apartment and took it with him. I don't know what he's up to unnie but please go to Chaeryeong unnie now"

As Yuna said that I ended the call and hurriedly went to the parking lot. Why did I fucking left it there?! I shouldn't have left the keys there. If something bad happens to Chaeryeong I wouldn't be able to forgive myself.

I don't know how dad even was able to get back from Jeju. It was just today that I heard about him again. I was relieved that he didn't hurt Yuna but I was hoping he doesn't hurt Chaeryeong

Getting in the car I hurriedly drove off to Chaeryeong's apartment. Not wanting to waste any time.

I was almost close to her apartment when I heard my phone ring. Not looking at it i pressed the call button.

"G-get off of me!!" I heard and my heart pounded. I knew it was Chaeryeong just from the voice. Tears started to form in my eyes, I was afraid of what was happening so I speed up and didn't care about anything else. All I care about now was my girlfriend, Chaeryeong.

I grabbed my other phone quickly and called for the police, just in case I needed back up.
