"Depressed Again"

That's what Ana claims, and it's not true. Apparently, caring SO much about your future equals depression. Her logic never makes any sense. Ana spoke to Patrick if he knew what was going on with my state (I'm just in a rut, okay!), but he said that I was just stressed about the ACT. Ana then assumed that all of my practice tests have resulted in low scores, causing me to give up on my dreams to go to an Ivy League school.

That obviously isn't true.

When I got back home from dance practice, Ana confronted me about it. She said that I shouldn't be stressing out that much and that even if I don't do as well as I would like, there will be at least a somewhat good university that'll accept me out there.

Apparently, Patrick better explained the test to Ana, because she seemed to better understand its situation.

What kind of black magic is this?

Ana proceeded to tell me that I should talk to my friends more, work this out with my therapist, and keep relaxing my body at night with my teas, music box, and diffuser.

Ana wasn't saying that a month ago...

"You need to focus on your studies. You've been slacking off too much."

"A 22?! The only thing that'll get you is a job flipping burgers at Mcdonald's."

(Amariah dropped out of high school and had no ACT score, yet she was the manager.)

It's not about Ivy League anymore. It's about the uni I will attend when I run away.
