Dreams
I was living back in my San Francisco condo. That morning, I had woken up to thunder and lightning. Due to the severe weather, the ACT I was scheduled to take that day was rescheduled for the next day, so I relaxed in bed with Ana and Brandon. The next day, I went to the ACT. The testing area was a large office conference room. My seat was next to a white boy with brown hair who looked like he hated life's guts. I sighed disappointedly and took my test anyways. The next day was my friend Monju's birthday, so she, Mariko, and I were celebrating at Costco. My backyard (which was the same as the one I have at my current house-the original one in my old SFO condo was just a balcony) had a hill that covered a secret, an underground passageway that led to Costco. While hanging out with Mariko and Monju, I realised that I had forgotten to get Monju a birthday present. I made a great effort to lose both of them so that I could secretly buy an Amazon gift card and birthday card, and secretly put the gift together. I did and Monju was quite happy with her birthday. For some weird reason, I ended up giving a gift to Mariko, which was the same gift I had given Monju, and she was overjoyed. More excited than Monju to receive a gift from me. Mariko jumped up and down before squeezing me into a tight hug. It was like she was into me or something. That night, I went home and Ana told me I shouldn't go there anymore. She showed me the stuffed animals that my brother had brought home and told me that he'd been sneaking off to go collect them. They have all chewed up thanks to Rocky (our old Chihuahua-boxer mixed breed-->we put him up for adoption once I was born). Because of that, Ana decided to put Rocky up for adoption. Even though the stuffed animals were chewed up, Brandon continued playing and sleeping with them, rubbing his face all over them. Ana didn't want Brandon to contract any diseases. The next day, she planned on covering up the secret passageway to Costco in our backyard.
Daily Dose of Happiness
"Noble deeds and hot baths are the best cures for depression." -Dodie Smith
Today's noble deed:
I knocked out the second half of my first practice ACT (the reading and science sections) in one sitting.
Today's hot bath:
I finished setting up a pastel aesthetic on my iPad.
Ana and Patrick took Brandon to one of his appointments, which meant...
Fast food. (Dun. Dun. Dun.)
A.K.A., my worst enemy.
While he may taste SO good, he commits evil onto my stomach and metabolic system.
It shuts down, in other words.
However, this time, I'm not going to fall to his evil scheme.
I was craving some ice cream, less than 3 hours before going to sleep, but thank science that Patrick had finished the entire pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream that we had.
But at the same time, I can't just keep relying on food miracles such as this.
Since I was craving ice cream, I decided to put the multiple bags of frozen bananas to good use and make banana nice cream (healthy ice cream) tomorrow.
The only ingredients are bananas and almond milk. NO guilt included.
Am I a genius or what?
