My full effort today: My friend, Audriana was planning her birthday party and wanted to invite all of her friends, including me. However, Ana had been against me hanging out with friends during the pandemic. Either way, she understood my strict parents after I told her about them, and asked if both of our mothers could talk. Ana doesn't take me or pick me up from dance practice, so I told Audriana that Patrick could speak with her mother and could pass a message to Ana. Things actually worked out. I went home and told Ana about it. She surprisingly let me go to Audriana's party and sleepover (the party also included a sleepover). Ana would do the same thing as she did when I slept over at my Asian friend, Monji's house. Introduce herself there and give the other parent emergency contact information before letting me go.
I've never felt happier in my life.
Maybe this is what I need in order to get out of my rut.
However, if I'm going to this party, I better have lost weight by then.
