DAILY DOSE OF HAPPINESS:
"I have found that most people are about as happy as they snake up their minds to be" -Abraham Lincoln
Today I made up my mind to be:
Content
Glad
Delighted
Thrilled
Elated
Pleased
Cheerful
Gleeful
Jubilant
Ecstatic
I have more proof that things always get better, and have achieved making my mind to be the three happiness traits I've highlighted. I was feeling really bummed that Camden is going to the game tomorrow without me, but now, I'm okay with it, and even glad for him. After all, he deserves the alone time. Being able to spend time apart from each other is key in our relationship and is something that a lot of young people who enter relationships have a difficult time grasping. I think I turned my whole day around by taking my negative feelings is and turning them into positive ones for myself and for him. I'm having a watch party with the common space club. Mrs. Humbert allowed Audriana and me to hang out in the auditorium to watch the game with her class at the end of the day. I'm bringing in the unopened family-sized bag of ruffles and Girl Scout cookies for us to eat during the game. I'll also send Camden off in the morning. You know, make sure he's safe and enjoys his me time. I used my own me-time experience watching Audriana in "The Little Mermaid" to calm down my emotions. Also, meeting with Guthrie tomorrow and sorting out my "Lost in Love" feelings should prove to be beneficial for me too. GOOD NIGHT!
