Ana got off of work early so that she could go grocery shopping and take me to practice driving. A storm was predicted to come at 22:00, so we figured we'd get in some driving time before night fell. We practised for about two hours before deciding to take a quick trip to our local Gap to shop for athletic clothes for dance. We were there until closing time, which was 21:00, and heard the thunder and lightning while inside. We hurried to the check out to pay, and as we began to leave, we saw an Asian family waiting for the storm to pass. I decided to film the storm from the door, but as I was doing so, the wind swung the doors open (thank science that they were pushed doors, or else my tiny ass would've been pushed into the store).
Right after the employee secured the door, everyone received emergency alerts of a tornado warning, instructing us to take shelter. Since Gap did not have a basement, we went into the interior room. It was so big and had a few white tables that were spread out. There was also a vending machine, a giant commercial fridge, and a TV. I'm assuming this is also the cafeteria.
Ana and I stayed in Gap until the warning lifted before going home, but it continued to storm. There were so many lightning strikes across the sky and Ana nearly gave herself a heart attack while driving.
Chasing storms is fun! (FUN FACT: It's a hobby of mine.)
I've been in a rut for the past three months (maybe more), and now, I've hit an all-time low. Ice cream and two doughnuts all in one sitting?! I'm going to gain back the weight I lost if I don't pull myself together. I haven't had a proper exercise routine in weeks. I don't know what to do now. Surprisingly, Ana isn't suspicious, but while trying on a child-size 14 romper, Ana grabbed my fat ass stomach and said "Do more exercises." The romper fit me everywhere except my stomach. I miss my 6th grade flat stomach days.
