I pull my eyes from out the window, rolling them. "Looks like we can't go on our date, Xolo." I tell him. He looks out the window.
His eyes grow wide with intensity.
"That's perfect, babe!" He says, smiling.
My frown turns into a confused grin when hearing those words. I had thought that he would be angry, or at least filled with doubt.
But he was smiling from cheek to cheek.
"Why are you happy?" I asked, cuddling close to him on the couch as we watch The Office.
"You'll see." He tells me. He gets out a blindfold and puts it on my eyes.
"What are you doing...?" I ask him, chuckling between words.
"Just wait..." He says. He leads me outside and I feel little wet stuff drop on me. "Take off the blindfold"
I see him on one leg, smiling at me. "Will you marry me?"
I can't hold my tears. They escape my eyes. "Yes, yes, I will!"
