Adrie's POV

Flashback

I kept my promise that I will leave Ros only after she slept. I was tucking her in her blanket when I heard my phone rang. I saw that it was Rica's mother.

I answered. "Hello, Tita." I heard her crying. "What's wrong po?" I asked.

"Hijo, please help me, Rica OD'd" She replied.

Okay? But what does this have to do with me?

"She won't accept further treatment, kinumbinse na namin siya pero wala talaga." She added.

I mean, she was still my friend.

"I'll be right there, Tita" I said then dropped the call.

I let out a sigh then napatitig ako kay Ros. She really looks like an angel while she's asleep.

"Andre" She said and smiled as she's asleep.

Andre? Her ex?

I shrugged, stood up, turned off the lights, and then left her bedroom. I went outside then called our driver to pick me up and go to Rica. While in the car I was looking through my gallery then I saw Ros and I's picture together. 'yong nakanganga siya habang nakaback hug sa akin also her picture while sleeping. It made me smile I felt light as a feather.

The light feeling, then, was gone when I saw Rica's situation. She was lying down on a hospital bed looking pale with her mother and father crying by her side. Me and Tita Che went outside so that she could brief me about the situation.

"Adrie, kahit sana kunwari lang, mag-stay ka para kay Rica. I am just trying to save my daughter." Tita Che begged. "She did that because it was unbearable to her that you chose someone over her. Hindi din siya kumain masyado simula nung huli mong punta sa bahay. Kaya bilang ina, nakikiusap ako sa iyo na samahan siya kahit hanggang gumaling lang siya at kumbinsihin siya na magpagamot."

Cut flashback

Gico laughed. "SABI KO NA E! HINDI LANG CRUSH."

"Really? Ayun lang comment mo sa lahat ng nangyari?" I asked.

"Sorry natuwa lang ako, so si Rica nga nag-overdose sa drug tapos ayaw magpagamot, e anong kinalaman nun sa paglayo mo kay Ros at sa amin nina Paige?"

Continue flashback

"Okay Tita, I will stay and help you, so long as after niya magamot, I can continue with my normal life." I replied.

Tita Che thanked me over and over again. An hour later, I was left in the hospital room with Rica. She just woke up so I decided to talk to her as I have promised to her mother.

"Hey Rica. How are you?" I said.

"Horrible" She replied as she hid herself under her blanket.

"Kailangan mong gumaling Rica. For your family."

"What else?"

"For your dreams."

"Don't have any."

I sighed. "For me?" I sat beside her, "Look Rica, you shouldn't let your life go to waste. I may not know how you feel but I'm here for you and I will stay until you're okay."

She got out of the blanket and hugged me. "Thank you Adrie."

Yeah. Sure.

"E bakit hindi mo na lang sinabi sa amin kaysa napalayo ka? Iintindihin naman namin, lalo ako, pinsan mo ako." Gico said.

"I didn't mean to drift away from you guys, but I had to. Rica asks me to be there EVERY free time I have, her recovery is really slow and she doesn't like it kapag nalalaman niya na kasama ko kayo because-"
