Adrie's POV

After a long day at the amusement park, Ros and I bid our goodbyes to Eros, Eli and Elaine. It was indeed a fun day. I called our driver to pick us up and went back to our house. Habang nasa biyahe kami, Ros suddenly fell asleep on my shoulder. Her temperature is still high and I naturally couldn't help but be worried about her.

Ros slept well, she did not even notice that I managed to carry her towards my room. I went down to the living room to hang out with my brother.

"Oh Adrie, I thought tulog kayo ni Ros?" Kuya Andrin said.

"Nah, I can't sleep." I answered. "I'm glad she's back."

"I can say the same." Kuya Andrin answered. "Akala ko magkakababy kayo ni Rica." He joked.

"Haha funny." I said then we played video games.

I went back to my bedroom after a while, I saw Ros still sleeping but facing sideward, I sat down and looked at her.

"Mr. Vallins" She said subconciously.

"Hmm?" I asked.

"Why are you still awake? Aren't you tired?" She asked.

"You're still sick. And you had no one around, how am I supposed to..."

"Are you doting on me Mr. Vallins?" She interrupted.

"I'm just..."

She faced me then put her head on her right hand. "You're just what Mr. Vallins?"

"I... umm..."

"Adrie kain na tayo dinner." Ros woke me up.

Sheesh, dream lang pala.

"Kanina ka pa gising?" I asked.

"Yep. Nakanganga ka pa matulog. Parang ang saya ng panaginip mo a." She said then slightly laughed "Tara kain na tayo sa baba."

I went downstairs with her and I was welcomed by the aroma of her Adobo.

"Wow, bango." I praised.

She looked at me then smiled.

Is this a dream again?

"Creepy mo." I said then sat by the dining table.

"Alam mo ba nagsasalita ka din nung tulog ka?" She asked.

I smiled back at her then put food on my plate. I didn't say a thing. I just praised her cooking then washed the dishes after we ate.

When the night became darker, we sat at the living room then looked at the paintings on the wall. She suddenly put her head on my shoulder and I was worried kasi 'yong temperature niya hindi pa din bumababa. I looked at her only to find out that she had fallen asleep or so I thought...

"Pumikit lang ako, don't even try to carry me upstairs again Mr. Vallins. Baka makalas na 'yong buto mo." She joked.

"Ahah. Ang funny." I told her then I massaged my temple and put back my stare at the paintings.

Suddenly, I remembered her smile at the picture when she was still with her ex. I have the strong urge to make her smile like that but I don't know the reason why.

Out of nowhere, she spoke. "But are you really doting on me though?"

Luckily, the hero of the day, Gico video called. I picked up my phone and answered it.

"Yo bro." I greeted.

"Uuuy magkasama sila." Gico teased. "Kamusta pala si Ros? Baka lalo uminit 'yan."
