Chapter 44

Alex POV

"Shh!" I open the hotel room door and see Serv standing there.

He smiles, "Hi baby." He leans in and gives me a kiss.

"Ugh, so happy you're here. Ready to surprise her?" I question.

"Hell yeah. I've missed all three of you!" He says.

I lead him into our room to our sleeping children.

We crawl in, "Wakey, wakey birthday girl..."

A groan, "I'm sleepy, momma!" "Yeah me too!" Charlie says.

"Aw man, I really wanted breakfast with my girls.." Serv says.

Sawyer's eyes shoot open, "Pops!" And she tackles him into the bed. "Dada here!!" Charlie says.

I smile watching them, my little family.

"Happy birthday baby." Serv says. "Happy birthday, Sawyer!!" Charlie yells.

"So it's Friday, I pulled some strings with chef and you get your French toast baby, so let's go!"

She smiles, "Thanks momma!"

I watch as her and Charlie zoom out of the room and look at Serv, "I love you."

He leans over and hovers above me when I hear feet coming.

"Gross momma and dada!" "Not again!" Charlie and Sawyer exclaim.

We laugh, "Alright. Enough. Let's go!"

They wait for us and we walk to the elevator. I can see Sawyer practically vibrating with excitement.

"Excited, baby?" She looks at me, "Uh-huh! French toast momma!"

I smile and chuckle, "Just for you! I have your meds, okay?"

She nods and bolts off of the elevator, "She's like the energizer bunny." Serv says.

"I know. It takes a minute for these meds to kick in, but they seem to be okay. I don't like the drop off at the end of the day." I say.

He nods, "We'll figure it out."

"Hold on baby!" I stop her from opening the door.

"You're really wound up, so just deep breath." I watch as she takes one.

"Alright, let's go."

I watch as she opens the door, "SURPRISE! Happy birthday!!"

Her eyes widen, "WHOA, SO COOL MOMMA! Auntie Jeri!! Papa!! Auntie Jen!! Grandma!!"

I watch as she runs to my family and I smile.

I watch as Pinoe ruffles her hair and I smile wide, "This kid has a whole army behind her." Serv says.

I wrap my arms around him, "Wouldn't have it any other way." I give him a kiss on the cheek.

Sawyer runs over and wraps us in a hug, "Thank you!! I love having the fam here!"

"They wanted to be here, baby. Now let's eat."

I watch as she bounces away to get her French toast.

I walk over to my family, "Thanks for being here guys!" I hug Jeri and Jen, then my mom.

"Of course baby sis! Wouldn't miss it!" Jeri puts me in a chokehold.

"Ow Jer! Let me go!" I whine.

"No can do, baby sister. Not until you admit that I'm the best!" Jeri says.
