Alex POV - December 17th

"Welcome to Eagle County Regional Airport! We hope you enjoy your stay here in the mountains and happy holidays!"

I look over and see Charlie and Sawyer passed out.

"We have to start waking them up." Serv says.

I lean over, "Sawyer, gotta get up baby, plane landed."

"Ugh!" She groans.

"Come on, we have to deplane, then get luggage, and then we will get the car and be on our way to auntie Jeri."

"How long is the drive to auntie Jeri's?" She mumbles.

"30 minutes, baby." I say and start getting Charlie up.

I grab a chew tube out of my purse and hand it to her, "Here. I'll give you a snack when we get the car."

She nods and turns her phone on while yawning.

We stand up and Serv grabs most of the luggage while I grab Charlie and make sure Sawyer has all of her things.

"Check the pocket, baby."

"I did momma!" She groans.

"Check it again." I say.

She leans forward and opens the pocket and pulls out her switch.

"Did you really check? You could've left that and Santa is not bringing another one." I tell her.

"Whatever. Santa's not-" she stops and looks at Charlie.

"Santa's not what Sawyer?" Charlie asks.

"Santa's not going to forget that I want an Oculus this year." She says slowly.

"Oh! I'm sure Santa will bring you one, Sawyer. You been good! And me too! We tell him what we want tomorrow!" She says.

"Yep, we will!" She says and looks at me apologetically.

I shake my head and stand up.

"Okay, come on babies, stay close. Sawyer, keep a hold on Mav."

"Yes, momma." She garbles with the tube in her mouth.

We get through the airport and gather all of our luggage, then head to the rental car spot.

As we wait, I see Sawyer start pacing around and bouncing on her feet.

I smile because it makes me so happy how much Sawyer loves my sister.

"Hey baby? How are you feeling?"

She stops, "Um, excited? We haven't seen auntie Jeri in like three whole weeks! And she said we're going snowboarding and ice skating! And wow! Look at all of the snow outside! Hey Mav has never seen snow, me either!"

"Grab your vest, baby." I chuckle.

She walks to her bag and straps it on, visibly letting out a sigh.

"Alright family, let's hit the road!" Serv says.

We hop in the car and start driving.

"Wow momma, this is so cool!" Sawyer says.

I smile, "Yeah, it is."

We pull into the driveway of the house we are renting, which is down the street from Jeri's place.

"Auntie Jeri is here!" Sawyer yells and gets out of the car.

I see my sister walking up and Sawyer takes off and tackles her into the snow.
