Sawyer POV - One week before Valentine's Day

"Momma!" I yell when I walk into the house.

"She's not home yet, baby. She had training and a meeting." Pops says walking in behind me.

I pout and walk towards the living room, grabbing my oculus.

"Hey, you have 30 minutes before Maddie gets here."

I groan, "I don't like her. When is Rachel coming back?"

He sighs, "I think two weeks. You have to be flexible and Maddie isn't so bad."

"She is." I mumble and pull the oculus screen over my eyes and focus on Star Wars.

I hear the doorbell ring and ignore it, instead focusing on wiping out as many storm troopers as possible.

"Take that!" I mutter.

"Sawyer, oculus off." Pops says.

I whine, "I didn't get a warning!"

"Off, now, Sawyer or it's done for the night."

"Ughhhh!" I take off the screen and see Maddie, "Hey Sawyer!"

"Go away." I groan.

"Sawyer, stop. You want to work in the kitchen or out back?" He asks me.

I sigh, "Out back."

I put the oculus down and head towards the back, huffing as I fall into a seat.

Maddie walks out and sits next to me, "I know you're used to Rachel and that this is hard for you, alright?"

I look up and nod, "I don't like change."

She smiles, "Me either. But if we can get through everything, you can be done a little early. Rachel said you like to finish early if you can."

I nod, "Yeah, extra free time. Can you- um write out what we have to do?"

She bobs her head, "Sure and we can do the checks, just like Rachel."

"Kay..." I sigh.

'Just want everything to go back to normal.'

Alex POV

I park and get out then open the back, "Hi baby!"

"Hi momma!" Charlie giggles.

"Let's go, monkey!"

We walk inside and I see Serv on the couch, watching golf, "Hey babe."

He looks over "Hey!"

"Dada!" Charlie runs over and hugs him, "Where's Sawyer?"

"She's outside working, baby. Let her finish up."

She nods and heads over to her toys.

I sit on the couch, "Was she okay?"

He looks at me, "She didn't want to work with her, but I told her she'd lose the oculus if she didn't. She's been out there working with minimal meltdowns."

I bob my head, "Minimal meltdowns, I'll take that."

He chuckles, "Compared to the last couple of weeks? Heck yes, honey."

I chuckle and lean my head on his shoulder, watching Charlie play.

I hear the patio door open and watch as Maddie walks into the living room, "Hey."

"Hi! How was she?"

"Better, man she likes to negotiate." Maddie chuckles.

I nod, "Likes to get her way, where is she?"
