I stood up and quickly redressed myself in the clothes that I wore last night. Noel sat on the bed wrapped in the sheets watching me intently, his icy blue eyes burnt into the back of my head.
"So what did ya think this time" he asked sounding sure of himself.
I scoffed and laughed "you rock my world noel Gallagher"
I turned round to look at the smug look on his face as he accepted my compliment.

I spent the rest of the day at oasis' rehearsal which was interesting. Liams voice was gorgeous but I wouldn't tell him that for fear it would boost his ego even higher than it already was. Noel had lent me some of his clothes I was sat wearing one of his shirts and his jeans which drowned me even though he wasn't very tall. I sat on the floor watching and listening intently. Surprisingly, Noel asked for my input on something,

"Lyla, can you come and help me come up with a tune for this song I've written" he said
"Yeah course"I responded and he passed me the crumpled piece of paper which he had scribbled the lyrics for a song called Cast No Shadow. I quickly scanned the page reading the lyrics.
"Can you pass me a guitar" I asked him.
I played around a little but at first but eventually came up with a tune. Noel sat down in front of me waiting for me to play it for him, so I did.

He sat opposite me with another guitar and played over the top as well as adding backing vocals. It sounded amazing. When we finished Noel called,
"Guigs, can you pass us that tape recorder and get rkid 'ere with his tambourine"
"Please" I added sarcastically on the end of his sentence causing him to pull a face at me.
As guigsy approached with the tape recorder Noel looked at me sternly and said
"now do it exactly the same again"
I couldn't help but laugh at his seriousness however I did exactly as he asked.

Once the song was recorded, Noel lightened up a bit. I hadn't realised how seriously he took his music. While Noel was packing up, I got talking with Liam.

"Ya know Lyla, Noels crazy about ya" he said out of the blue
"That's nice of you to say Liam" I replied, Liam looked at me wide eyed and asked,
"You're his bird now right? Like his proper girlfriend 'n tha"
"Yeah, I am" i chirped cheerfully
Liam looked at me solemnly before he said,
"Lyla there's something you need to know"
