"Wake up!" My eyes were shut but I could hear a deep voice bark followed by the low sound of stone shifting. "Wake up, all of you!" It sounded like Thorin. I fluttered open up my eyes and pulled my head off Kili's chest. "What's happening?" I asked, rubbing my eyes but my fear spiked as the floor below us suddenly began to dissolve. I tried to back up against the cold wall but it was no use. Our screams merged together as the floor be beneath us disappeared and we slid down the tunnel into a place that was unknown to us.
Dwarves smashed into each other, tumbled down the smooth tunnel and I even ended up banging my head against the rock. We all eventually fell ontop of each other into a large basket on a platform. I groaned "Ow." as one of the dwarves landed on me and my skull throbbed. My head shot up when I could hear dozens of footsteps dashing towards.
A gasp shot from my mouth when I looked up and saw hundreds of goblins scaling down walls and dozens of the creatures tackled us and pulled us off the ground. All of the dwarves were struggling and tried to fight the goblins but we were completely outnumbered. A goblin had a tight grip on my shoulder, it dug its crooked, sharp nails deep into my skin. "Ow! Get off!" I tried to tear myself from his grip but it only made him deepen his grip on me.
I peered over my shoulder back to see Bilbo being thrown around by a goblin. "Father!" I tried to yell but the goblin held me even tighter, I hissed in pain as it continued to shove me deeper into the cave. I saw Bilbo being thrown onto the floor hard with a loud thump over all the commotion. "Get off!" I continued to fight and scream as Bilbo's sword slid out his grip and he was left completely defenceless; getting dangerously close to the edge of the cliff that led to an obis.
I was completely blinded by rage so I brought back my head and brought it back down as hard as I possibly could. I knocked skulls with the goblin so hard that it screeched and reeled back; releasing me. My eyes slammed shut as my head throbbed with a pain that shot down my body. How do the dwarves make it look so easy?
I swallowed the pain as I grabbed my sword out of my belt and swung my sword at whatever was in front of me. The sword sliced through the goblins neck which made him drop dead instantly. Woah. Once I was finally had reached an opening, I ran to Bilbo before any other goblin could grab me, luckily I was unknown to the goblins who now dragged the company deeper into the cavity of their kingdom
"Father!" I ran up to the goblin attacking him and sliced the back of his knee which brought him too the ground. I dove down to Bilbo but as I flying down the goblin managed to grab my ankle and slam me onto the ground as it pulled me back. "Juliette!" Bilbo reached out for me but I rotated onto my back and brought back my boot before slamming the heel into into the goblins face as hard as I could. An awful crunch sound sent him crumbling onto the floor, clutching onto his nose.
The adrenaline of this violence I had recently acquired cause me to approach the fallen goblin that shrivelled up against the cliff with nothing but daunting darkness below it. He was so close he was practically hanging off. So I gave him a little nudge. I pressed the heel of my boot onto his body, and he gave me one final pleading look of fear which made my stomach churn before I rolled him straight off, falling into the eternal debts of darkness.
I don't even recognise myself. Once he was gone mine and Bilbo's breathing were the only things filling the silence, as the dwarves took all noise with them, including all the other goblins. But this was no time for celebration; the dwarves were else where in this kingdom inside the mountain and we were getting left behind.
"Come on, Father, stand up." I pulled him up by his arm, desperate for him to stand so we could stay with the others. You did not want to get lost in a place like this. "I didn't know you could that!" He exclaimed in shock, concern hidden behind his eyes. "Well there's a lot of firsts on this adventure." For the first time since we fell down that whole Bilbo was finally back on his feet.
