Chapter 28 Jellyfishes and Cameras

The afternoon sun shimmered against the steel frame of the airship as it descended over the coastline. Inside, Yuya, Yuni, Vivian, and Yuzu were gathered near the control deck, joined by Crow, Gongenzaka, Ron, and Sora. The group had been traveling nonstop since their last battle, their minds heavy with the weight of the recovered Numbers.

Sora leaned back against the wall, arms crossed, his expression half-annoyed, half-worried. "You really are getting yourselves into danger. Every time you grab one of those Number Cards, trouble shows up right after."

Yuni's eyes hardened. "I know... but we have to get them back. They're my treasure—and I won't let anyone take them from me again."

Crow scratched the back of his head. "So, let me get this straight—you're saying these Duel Monsters have souls and actually try to attack you? That's still hard to wrap my head around. We've seen plenty from Academia, but nothing like that."

Yuya looked out through the airship window, the waves below glinting under the sun. "For some reason... I think there's more to all this. Something deeper connecting the Numbers and the people chasing them."

The air around them suddenly turned cold. A strange ripple spread through the atmosphere, and a shape began to materialize in front of them—a man with translucent skin and flowing, jellyfish-like appendages. His voice oozed with smug delight. "I finally found you..."

Yuya stepped forward, his Duel Disk at the ready. "And who might you be supposed to be?"

The stranger smirked. "I am Jellyfisher! Under Black Mist-sama's command, I've come to eliminate you."

Yuni crossed her arms. "Speak of the devil... Looks like another Number Monster's come calling."

Yuzu stepped up beside her, determination gleaming in her eyes. "Then let me handle this one."

Yuya blinked. "Yuzu, are you sure?"

She nodded and activated her Duel Disk in one smooth motion. "Positive. I won't let another one of Black Mist's pawns hurt anyone else."

Jellyfisher sneered. "Then come, girl. Let's see if your courage survives when the ocean drags you down."

The Field Magic — Crossover activated automatically, the world around them morphing into a shimmering arena surrounded by crashing waves and floating coral structures.

Both duelists raised their arms, their disks flashing simultaneously. "Duel!"(Jellyfisher:4000)(Yuzu:4000)

Yuzu raised her arm, her Duel Disk flashing to life. "I'll take the first turn!"

She drew her opening hand, her confidence firm. "I activate the Spell Card—First Movement Solo! When I control no monsters, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Melodious monster from my hand or Deck! I choose—Aria the Melodious Diva!" (ATK:1600/DEF:1200/Level 4)

A wave of light swept across the field as a young woman in a crystalline dress materialized, her voice echoing in a soft melody that rippled through the air.

"I'll set one card face-down," Yuzu said calmly, sliding a card into her Duel Disk. "And that's the end of my turn."

Jellyfisher grinned, his body pulsing with a faint blue glow. "Then it's my turn! Let's go!"

He drew sharply, his eyes glinting. "I summon Death Chironex!" (ATK:800/DEF:800/Level 4)

From the crashing waves emerged a translucent jellyfish with crimson-tipped tentacles, its eyes pulsing with venomous light.
