As soon as they stepped back into the Xyz Dimension, Yuya and Yuni hurried through the bustling courtyard, each holding onto Victoria's hand as if afraid she might vanish again. The two siblings darted between duelists and repair crews, their eyes fixed on the distant figure of their father. Yusho stood near the central pavilion, deep in conversation with Katrina and Vivian.
"Dad!" Yuya called out, his voice bright with urgency. "Look who we found!"
Yusho turned at once. For a moment, his calm composure broke—his eyes widened in disbelief. "Victoria?" he breathed. "Is that really you?"
Victoria smiled warmly, her expression a blend of relief and nostalgia. "Uncle Yusho... it's so good to see you again." She stepped forward, and Yusho immediately wrapped her in a firm, heartfelt hug—the kind shared only by those who had survived too many goodbyes.
Katrina blinked in surprise. "Wait—who is she?"
Yuni answered quickly, excitement still in her tone. "This is Victoria! She's from the Original Dimension too. We found her while we were in the Fusion Dimension—she told us a lot about what's been going on there."
Yusho's gaze softened, though concern lingered in his eyes. "Victoria... where have you been all this time? What happened to you and your father?"
Victoria took a quiet breath, her expression dimming slightly. "After the chaos began, I took refuge inside my own Clear World. I didn't even know about the Dimension Splits until recently. And... I just found out that Zarc and Zarnie were divided into four as well."
Yusho placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I see. You don't have to be afraid anymore. You're safe here."
He introduced her to Katrina and Vivian, both offering polite smiles. Victoria greeted them with her usual grace, and before long, the group settled into quiet conversation—recounting fragments of the past, reconnecting lost bonds, and realizing how much their fractured worlds had changed.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Xyz base, Rumi and Kaito wandered down one of the rebuilt corridors, the hum of machinery and the chatter of mechanics filling the air. The tension that had once consumed the battlefield seemed to have eased at last.
Rumi broke the silence first, glancing at Kaito. "So... how are things going on your end?"
Kaito gave a faint, tired smile. "It's fine now. I won't ever leave Hart again." His tone softened, guilt flickering behind his calm expression. "And... I'm still grateful you knocked some sense into me back then."
Rumi's lips curved into a small smile. "I'm glad to hear that."
Before either could say more, a deafening blast tore through the ground beneath them. The shockwave hurled dust and fragments into the air, and both duelists instinctively leapt back, barely avoiding the explosion's core.
"What was that!?" Kaito shouted, his Duel Disk halfway raised as the smoke cleared.
A cold voice cut through the haze. "You got lucky," it said, each word laced with disdain. "But I won't miss next time."
A figure stepped forward—tall, sharp-eyed, and cloaked in shifting shadows. The light revealed his emblem: a gleaming insignia etched with a single word—Pride.
Rumi's eyes widened. "You're one of the Seven Sins!"
The man tilted his head slightly, an arrogant smile crossing his face. "Oh? You're not the one I came for." His gaze swept over her, dismissive. "You're not Sakaki Yuni. Tell her to come out and face me."
Kaito narrowed his eyes. "And what do you plan to do with her?"
Pride's smirk widened, his voice dripping with menace. "It's simple. I'm going to avenge Wrath... Lust... and Greed."
