Ruby Jane understood the whole picture Dylan was in. She wasn't sure how much it was true or if he was faking everything just so he could help Seungri play dirty against her like every time.
However, one thing was sure, Seungri didn't know Dylan was helping her out in the ordeal three years back. She has to see the true color Dylan for Seungri. If he was supporting Seungri, she wanted him to be against him.
"Seungri killed your parents." She tested if he was aware.
There was a pause in Dylan's movements, "I know." Dylan's voice sounded menacing when he stood by the hearth and lit it to destroy the pictures.
If Dylan wasn't acting, Ruby Jane discerned his aim wasn't just to get his sister. He was going to kill Seungri soon after. He was stuck in the past without being able to move on or think about his own life.
So Dylan knew one of the secrets of Seungri. Ruby Jane nodded to herself. "He also killed his parents."
Dylan dropped all the pictures to the fire, composing back to his cool. Even though Ruby Jane couldn't see his face, his body visibly relaxed. He turned around and took his seat. "I am aware of it too." He paused before he asked, gazing at her, "Are you telling me or testing me?"
Ruby Jane knew Dylan was a smart cookie. Even though she successfully tricked him a few times, he was still a hard nut to crack. "I can't form an opinion on you." She told the truth.
Dylan smiled at it. That smile had no malicious intent, it was pure amusement. Whatever he tries to expect or thinks of her, she is a total contrast to it. He thought she would pretend to be trusting or distrusting but she openly said what was going on in her head.
"Why don't you try in the big picture?" The little questions wouldn't bring her to trust him. He wanted her trust to bring down Seungri so that he could make use of Seungri's vulnerable state to know about his sister. He was selfish too.
'The big picture?' Ruby Jane couldn't decide if he was asking to know about her next attack or if he wanted to gain her trust. If he was with Seungri, then her series of plans would be destroyed.
Ruby Jane took her mobile out and dialed a number, "Before that..." She glanced at Dylan, "Tell me the details of your parents' accident case, date/month/year of when you saw your sister... Or if you know the pimp Seungri is working with." She briefed him on the required details.
Dylan didn't doubt her even a bit. "Will you help me?" He believed with Ruby Jane's connections, she could reach far deeper and wider than his reach. He was helping those women all these years, in the hopes somebody might be helping his sister too. If that's going to be Ruby Jane, he wouldn't mind owing his whole life to her.
Ruby Jane looked at Dylan when her finger was on the speaker option to click. 'Helping Dylan?' Ruby Jane sniggered. He might not have done anything to her directly, but he was still one among the people who wanted to kill her. "Maybe your sister."
She wanted to confirm what he would say was the truth before she thinks of spending her resources to look for a woman she doesn't even know. But if Dylan's sister was alive and she managed to get her information, then Dylan would be in her hands.
Importantly, was the story Dylan said true? Or fake?
Helping his sister was what Dylan mentioned as helping him. Dylan couldn't believe the girl who was running for her life from Seungri was helping the Harmon family, Aeon, Sean, Eliza, their grandfather, and now his sister. He felt like Ruby Jane was born to snap a bug called Seungri and save their family.
Before he could utter anything, they heard a girl's voice, "On it, Boss." Ruby Jane had mentioned before that she might call them and they have to connect Elder Harmon mentioning him to just listen and speak only if required. So she was connecting with Elder Harmon.
