I scour through my closet. What the hell am I supposed to wear? It's hard enough to pick out an outfit when I have nothing to wear but now I don't even know where we are going. I mean I do have stuff to wear but nothing seems appealing in this moment.
Ok let's try casual. Smart but also casual. Cute and warm because it's Autumn but also a coat that I can take off it's too warm. Something that won't kill me to walk in, which eliminates heels. I put some hair grips in my hair incase it is windy and going to get messy and a hair tie on my wrist just incase. Um what else? Should I pack my camera? Yes, camera is always good, just incase. I pack my things in to my decent sized bag and once I'm satisfied with my look I make my way downstairs.
I'm wearing camel jumper, black trousers and a navy blue, blazer coat. I went with a light brown bag that's fluffy and cosy on the inside. I tug on my boots, which do have a slight heel on. Hopefully we're not walking too far but even if we are I don't think I'll be too bad in these. I just pray it's no where muddy. I decide to go with a full face of makeup and a nude shade of red lipstic.
I sit on the sofa nearby the window, waiting anxiously for Tyler to arrive. I realise that with everything going on I completely forgot to tell Tara about this date. I make a mental note to do so later.
"You going somewhere?" I look up to see my mom standing in front of me at a distance with a mug of presumably tea in her hands.
"With a guy." I reply.
"Jackson?"
I shake my head "No on a date accutally." Well I think it's a date.
"Oh." She says clearly shocked but before I can question further there's a knock on the door and my mother takes that as a chance to excuse herself. "Have fun and don't be out too late."
"I won't." I stand up from my seat and take a few deep breaths to calm my nerves before walking over to the door. I open the door and there he is. The boy I've had a crush on since forever is at my house and he's here to see me. To take me out on a date? It's still unbelievable.
He smiles when we make eye contact. "Hi." He says.
"Hey. I think you got the wrong house." I joke.
He leans forward a little, it's barely noticeable, if I wasn't staring so intently at him I wouldn't of realised. "I'm pretty sure I have the right one. You're the pretty and intelligent girl I asked out on a date. Are you not?" So it is a date. Wow hearing him saying it outloud seems surreal. Fuck I'm blushing like crazy.
"Shall we." He says moving to the side to showcase his beautiful blue car. Flashy.
I follow him to the car after locking the front door.
We get in the car and I impatiently ask "So. Where are we going?"
He sticks his tounge to the right side of his mouth, a smirk etched on his face. He turns to look at me. "I'm not telling you, you're gonna have to find out yourself when we get there."
