Jackson's still mad at me. He's still avoiding me. He didn't show up to any of my classes last week. This week he has shown up but he moves seats whenever he's meant to be sat next to me. I've tried to go up to him but he just walks away. I try to message him and he doesn't answer or sometimes he does but he keeps it minimal and straight to the point. The silent treatment is fucking killing me.
The only time he's near me is when we are with our friends and he has made it abundantly clear that I'm not to talk to him or if I do he won't reply. Honestly I have no clue what to do. He's taking this too far. If he'd just give me the chance to explain this wouldn't be over but it would be a start.
I've been staying inside the past couple of weeks only going out when necessary like for school or when I'm required at work. My friends keep asking me to go out with them but I don't have the energy and I really don't feel like it. Plus I don't want them to have to choose between me or Jackson, the awkward tension surely makes them not want to hang out with us both at the same time.
I've been out a few times with Tyler but he's been mostly coming to my house and watching movies in bed with me.
I don't feel like taking or thinking I just want to watch TV. So that's what I do.
"Come on get your ass out of bed." Tara says attempting to pull the duvet off my body. No. I like it here.
I grasp the duvet for dear life. "She's not going to budge." Tyler says from his place in the corner of my room. Damn right I'm not.
"She will if I have anything to say about it." I burry my head under the covers more, exaggerating the point that I'm staying put without using words. Tara huffs. "Come on Mer don't you want to get all dressed up and go out with your friends?" I mean I do but I also don't and my comfy bed is making the decision for me.
When I don't answer Tyler continues on "None of the football team have been talking about this party so I doubt anyone you know will be there except us." So no Kelly, that's a bonus.
"If all else fails at least you can get drunk, I'll even let you stay at my house so your parents or more importantly your brother doesn't find out." Now that gets my attention.
I peek my head out from under the covers and look between the two. I roll my eyes. "Fine." I give in. "But I better be hella drunk."
"See I told you I could convince her." Tara says to Tyler and he shrugs.
"Don't make me change my mind." I warn pointing my finger at her.
Tara runs into my closet and takes a very long time. Just as I begin to get worried that she's stuck in Narnia or something, she comes back out with two dresses, one in each hand. "Which one." Well that just made my choice a whole lot simpler.
"That one." I say not missing a beat and pointing to the dress in her right hand. "Why is the other one even a choice it's hideous?"
"I wanted you to wear this one." She says handing me the dress from in her right hand. "But if I didn't give you an option you wouldn't have been happy and you were already unhappy about agreeing to come so..."
I put on the red satin dress that goes down to my knees and add black tights because it's freezing. I also put on my black leather jacket to keep me warm, it's better than nothing. The only accessories I add to the outfit is a gold heart necklase and my favourite ring, the rose gold flower one. I don't get a bag I just put the few other things I need in my pockets.
Tara and Marley drive to the party together. Tyler meets me back at my house once he's finished getting ready. We set off to the party and arrive at the same time.
