11 years ago (the day of the tragedy), Ira's POV:

Cathrine is like the mother to everyone who works at my company, she's always positive. I kind of see myself in her which is why I trust her greatly. I told her the basics and what to do, leaving out the part about someone being after me and possibly dying today but exaggerating the importance of no one knowing.

Right now I don't trust anyone. I stand staring out of the window to watch as people work. This is the company that I built and worked my ass off every single day for and someone wants to take that away from me. That's why I didn't want to tell anyone that I'm the owner, they'll try to drag me down. They'll say I slept my way to the top because of course that's the only way a woman can get to the top. Or because I'm a woman of colour they'll say I don't deserve it and try to belittle me. Let's not leave out the fact that I'm a lesbian, oh how they would hate that.

They already tore me to shreds when they found out my so called 'Father' was in prison for armed robbery, courtesy of whoever is threatening me. Which is why I need to find out who's doing this and stop them.

Earlier I messaged Penny to meet me for lunch. If this is the end I had to see her, one last time to tell her just how much I love and adore her.

Jackson asked me to be his girlfriend, I want to scream in excitement.

"I love you so much." He mumbles in my ear as he holds me. I pull back to leave a kiss on his lips.

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out two coins, handing one to me before kissing his and tossing it into the fountain. I do the same.

"Full disclosure, I don't even remember what I wished for last time but this time I promise I will." I say.

"One more thing." He says. He steps back and unbuttons his coat, revealing his Hoodie.
