"Hi Mariana." Wes greets as I walk into my personal office. He hands me a cup and I take a sip of the slightly hot, hot chocolate.

"You remembered the sugar this time, that's an improvement." I say sitting at my desk.

"I put your schedule on your desk and laminated those papers you wanted me to." He says sitting in the chair across from me.

I was looking for an assistant and Quinn suggested Wes interview for the job, so here we are.

I interviewed many people for the job of my assistant but the majority of them lacked a personality. Sure, they were nice but they seemed almost robotic, like they were scared of messing up. I could tell that they just wanted the job for the money and or the experience for their next job and while that's ok I was looking for something more, someone who was passionate about even the little things.

I needed someone who I could trust as my personal assistant as it comes with a lot of responsibility and while Wes is reckless he is also responsible when he needs to be and smarter than anyone gives him credit for.

He brightens up the place with his funny personality and helps others when he can. I have hundreds of employees but everyone around the office seems to know who he is now and is friends with him.

Wes already knew what I wanted from my assistant when he was being interviewed for the job. He knows things about me that all of the other candidates didn't.

He knows that I wouldn't hire someone who's afraid to voice their opinion or someone who doesn't even have an opinion. Even if I did want to hire someone like that Wes just can't help himself from speaking, I'm sure he loves the sound of his own voice.

All roads lead back to Wes, he was the perfect fit for the job so I hired him.

There's a knock on the door. "Come in." I shout.

"Hi. We're um having some technical issues with a few of the computers down the hall they seem to be overheating and aren't working properly." Lily, one of my employees says.

"Wes-" I say.

"I'm on it." He says taking out his phone and calling his girlfriend.

Quinn is a miracle worker. She fixes the computers whenever we need, so much so I've hired her as our IT woman. She comes in to fix our technology when there's something faulty with it and she sometimes helps out the programmers of the app by teaching them what to do when they're stuck. I have never once come across a technical problem that she can't solve.

On the day my parents got arrested she temporarily changed the energy source to power the security cameras. Since then she has single handedly installed the cameras and made sure they won't be able to be switched off without an intricate type of code, which means only she is able to turn them off if I ask it of her.
