There's something magical about waking up on christmas morning and looking out the window at a bed of snow.

The snow gently falling and setting on the already snowy floor.

Christmas is the only time I acctually want to get up early and the first thing I do is look out the window for any signs of snow.

I leave the curtains wide open, the snow casts a bright light, and walk back over to the bed where Jackson is sound asleep. He stirred a little when I forcefully removed myself from his grasp, he tried to pull me back but I managed to escape.

As soon as I lay on the bed facing Jackson wraps an arm back around me and pulls me back towards him.

"Jackson." I say with a smile, tapping him to wake up. He hums in response. "Wake up."

"It's too early, I'm tired."

"It's Christmas." I state.

"It's sleep time."

"It's 7:30, I've been awake since 7."

"How about I make you a deal? I won't go back to sleep but we stay in bed for a while."

"Fine by me."

"Is it snowing outside?" He asks slowly fluttering open his eyes. He knows that I always look out the window first thing when I wake up on Christamas.

"Yeah."

"You're going to drag me outside in the literal freezing cold later aren't you?"

"Yes."

"I best make the most of this warm and cosy time while it lasts."

He places a chaste kiss on my lips.

"You don't have to come outside if you don't want to."

He places a hand over my cheek. "I'm hardly going to let you have all the fun by yourself."

We spend another half an hour in bed before I'm finally able to convince Jackson to move his ass. I told him I'd be mad at him if the snow melted before we got out there, what I didn't tell him is that it is still snowing so that probably won't happen any time soon.

We layer up in our thickest clothes to keep warm outside. "I look like a sumo wrestler."

"A pretty cute sumo wrestler."

"I can't possibly look cute right now."

"You look good in anything."

I raise my eyebrows in disbelief. "Now I know you're lying."

"I'm not."

"You look cute too." I say, knowing it'll annoy him. It's true, he does look cute.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes. Come on let's go." I say grabbing his arm and quickly pulling him out the bedroom and down the stairs before he can argue any further.
