"Come on Rhi, let's go." Jackson says knocking on the bedroom door of our hotel in Paris. We have a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our window, the sight is beautiful.

I've never seen him this nervous or rushed before, it's unsettling.

He went out for half the day so he could try and relax. It didn't work. He's been stressed out for most of the week, more so today. I stayed back so that I could get ready for the event in the time he was gone.

I deliberately made an effort to start getting ready earlier so I wasn't late, I've only gone like 5 minutes over, which is a world record for me, and I'm practically ready. I would feel bad about being 5 minutes late but Jackson's learned to tell me an earlier time rather than the acctual one we need to be there for.

"I'll just be a minute." I say.

He doesn't make a joke about me being an hour longer, that's a first.

I'm wearing a fancy black dress with some silver brackets and my J necklace. I have a black handbag and shoes to match.

I can't for the life of me find my all time favourite flower ring but I'm wearing my other favourite.

I open the door to the living room and Jackson is sat on the sofa, his knee bouncing on the floor. He's staring into space and looks stressed as fuck. Oh, he's nervous alright.

I mean I'm nervous for him.

He's been drawing for years and years and this is the first time one of his pieces is being shown off in an art gallery tonight and I'm so proud of him.

I lean against the doorframe. "Jackson." I say getting his attention. His head snaps to me and he immediately stands up.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi." I reply with a smile. He seems to have relaxed a little at my presence.

He takes in my appearance. "You're- wow. You're so gorgeous I can't even comprehend."

"Why thank you." I say. "You look extremely handsome." I motion to his suit.

"Thank you."

"Have you seen my flower ring anywhere? I can't find it."

"Nope, I haven't seen it." He says quickly.

I turn and walk back into the bedroom. "I definitely brought it with me, it's gotta be here somewhere." I say looking through drawers and underneath things. With the mess I've made from getting ready it's going to take forever to find.

Jackson comes into the room and just stands in the doorway. I turn to look at him to find he's stood watching me.

"What?" I ask.

"I don't want to be a dick but we should really get going." Yeah, there's no way I'm going to find my ring anytime soon and we can't be late because I can tell this is extremely important to him.
