"It's a false bottom."

"So does that mean he put that there?" Jackson asks.

"I'm assuming so." I say as we both stand side by side, staring at the half collapsed wooden 'floor' of the wardrobe.

"So now what do we do?" He asks.

"We need to somehow take out that piece of wood that's now jammed in there." I say pointing to the broken, fake floor of the wardrobe.

"I don't know about you but I don't see a saw anywhere around." He says looking around for emphasis.

"Everything needs to be put back how we found it, in one piece, and I mean that literally."

"What do you want me to do, jump on the other side to even it out?" He says sarcastically, or at least I hope it was.

"No strenuous activities." I reply in all seriousness.

"You have got to stop saying that."

"Maybe we could try pulling it?" I say ignoring him and walking closer.

"That's not going to work, like, at all." It's better than jumping on it and jamming it further.

I wrap my hands around the side of the, cool, dark wood that's currently in the air and pull lightly. That's not going to do it, I need to pull harder, it's really stuck in there.

I use all my might, pulling with the full weight of my body but it still doesn't budge.

I try from different angles and the wood moves but only the smallest bit, so little I'm questioning if I imagined it.

"Little help here?" I ask, looking over to Jackson who's stood watching me with his arms crossed, his face full of humor.

"No strenuous activities, remember? Plus this is very entertaining to watch."

I let out a huff of annoyance and pull harder with my new found anger.

I feel the wood starting to move and I continue to pull with all my strength, hoping that I can pull it out.

A miscalculation on my part.

I put my full bodyweight on pulling out the wood and let my relief cloud my judgement. When the wood finally unstics, I fly backwards with it still in my hands.

Jackson gasps and runs over to me, not able at all to contain his laughter. "Are you ok?" He chuckles, his laughter filling the room.

I move from my laid down position to sitting up. "It's not funny." I say with a small laugh. His laughter contagious.

"No it's not." He says pursing his lips to prevent him from laughing. He let's out a snigger before continuing to laugh. "Who am I kidding, that was hilarious."

I roll my eyes and make my way up from the floor. "Glad you find it amusing."

Jackson makes his way over to the closet, his laughter continuing until it stops and he stills. "Shit."
